“Still pretty goood food but service is declining”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2013

I have always liked the Boynton, and would still give it my recommendation for good food. But the prices have risen and the help is declining in their commitment to good service and attitude to please. Often the help is engaged in conversation with each other ignoring their guests. The value of this restaurant has declined.

“Great food and beer”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2013

We heard great things about Boynton's and they were right. Huge menu with everything from burgers to lobster. Excellent selection of beers. Definitely a local place. Only complaint is the waitress was a little unfriendly and gruff. Will go back.

“very loud but good food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 28, 2013

The decor was updated in the past 2 years. Nicely done but the place is always loud. Semi bar atmosphere and dining combo.

Menu is huge. Loved almost all of the appetizers and desserts ( except I had no room for dessert).

The spinach and artichoke pita dip was ok. It was properly warmed but the artichokes were huge chucks. I prefer them to blended well. The pita chips were tasty but I believe fried. I would have preferred them be baked it's different type of chip. I do not like fried foods.

The pizza Lar me was very good. Shrimp, scallop and crab on the pizza, with no sauce. It did have sliced tomatoes on it. It was very cheesy. Only complaint on this was that they did not slice the seafood. I would have preferred smaller pieces so that you are not forced to take such large bites. The seafood was plentiful.

The BBQ chicken pizza was thick and very yummy. Lots of sauce (BBQ) and huge chucks of chicken. Great pizza.

The place was packed for a Saturday at 2pm. Service was decent given the number of people.

Prices on the higher side. I would come here more often If they were lower.

“hopping place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 4, 2013

VERY noisy at dinner in the bar, large selection of draft beers, OK food, fairly friendly service. I found lunch better than dinner

“Great!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2013

Have been back several times since our first visit to the Boynton last month. The atmosphere is wonderfully American. The menu intense with all forth options. W have tried the fried pickles, poutin, hummus and pita bread, chicken wachusett, chicken piccata, Asian scallops served with jasmine rice, and a salmon dish. No disapointments!!! Beer is priced good for Worcester and they have a good variety of choices available beyond your basic domestics. A must visit for anyone who lives in the area!!!
