“Great View Spot”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 13, 2012

The Woods Hole drawbridge is a gorgeous spot to walk as a pedestrian and experience the charm of a small fishing village. The bridge goes up and down on the hour, and from the bridge you can look out to sea (where the ferries come and go across the Woods Hole Passage) or into the small marina called the Eel Pond. Both views are pretty stunning, and when traffic stops mid summer for a huge yacht to pass through that is also quite exciting. Worth a visit.

“Quaint, pretty, relaxing”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 4, 2012

This is a fun place to visit, and we have visited several times. It is fun for old and young alike to watch the drawbridge allow for the boats to pass. There are wonderful shops and restaurants nearby from which to view the drawbridge on a relaxing, sunny afternoon. We love walking around Woods Hole and spening lazy days there.

“Cute Drawbridge!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 30, 2012

One of the delights of shopping in Woods Hole is when the Draw bridge goes up to let a boat through. You can get very close and get some great photo shots. Nice for small children to see.

“Well, it is a drawbridge...”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 30, 2012

That is about all I can say about it, when it opens it is just like any drawbridge, I didn't realize it was a tourist attraction...

“Up, up, and away”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 24, 2012

This bridge attracted everybody whether they were walking or driving. A real up-close look at this marine delight. We were mezmerized by the actual lifting of the bridge, and equally thrilled watching the boat pass through right in front of our eyes.
