Chose this restaurant because of its high rating on Trip Adviser but should have paid more attention to the negative reviews. Arrived about 6:45 Saturday night and were told the wait for a table would be a half hour and that the grill was "broken" so there would be no steaks or burgers but that there was plenty of prime rib, seafood and pastas. So we elected to stay but noticed that a number of other people were turned off when informed about the grill problem. We sat at a bar table hoping to have a drink while waiting. After 25 minutes with no acknowledgement of our presence we inquired as to how we could get a server to take our drink order and were informed that there was no service at the bar tables and we would have to place our order with the bartender. The bartender was very busy and eventually we were able to place a drink order (it was then about 7:30). Shortly thereafter our table became available so we moved ourselves with drinks in hand to the dining room. Without going into a lot of detail as to how we were frequently ignored by servers throughout the evening (we even had to chase our server down to get our dinner tabs), the fact that they had run out of prime rib and the slowness of getting our food, we were sorely disappointed with everything except the quality of the stuffed prawn special dinner and chicken cacciatore dinner, both of which were excellent. Two of our party had chef's salads which were lightly loaded with meat and cheese (contained in a wrap and sliced), overloaded with kalamata olives (more than 20 per salad) and the romaine was bitter--a real disappointing offering for a chef's salad. Our ordeal at this restaurant took over 3 hours from start to finish and it is with reservations that we rate this establishment as average.
