After being rated the number one restaurant in the area, we were looking forward to a great meal. The menu offered a great selection from seafood to a hamburger to just a simple salad bar. We ordered, received our drinks, and then waited. As we waited we noticed that everyone who had come in after us had already been served. We questioned our waitress and she assured us that our meal was coming right up. After another 20 minutes and an empty kitchen we asked the hostess to just cancel our order, but she said it was too late, as they were already plating our meals. Soon the manager came over to our table and told us our order had never actually been placed. Although they did not charge us for our drinks, they did not handle the situation very well, not even telling us where we could get a speedier meal. So after an 80 minute wait, we left and enjoyed ice cream at Lickety Split in the downtown.
