Visited October 2014. We were delighted by the authentic and historic home, artifacts and antiques. The innkeepers were engaging and available whenever needed. The simple healthy breakfast - yogurt, granola, fresh fruit and baked breads - was excellent. The shared baths were not a problem and we enjoyed chatting with the other guests from around the world. We loved the kitchen fireplace on the chilly mornings. Negatives - parking was a bit muddy. The inn is on a state highway. It's off the road enough so that noise is not a problem, but it is not as charming as, say, a country road or historic neighborhood. But on balance we heartily endorse with 5 stars!
