As far as Hampton Inns go, this one leaves a lot to be desired.
Let's start with the good....breakfast was adequate. On par with most Hampton Inns. The seating area is tight but they do the best they can with the space they have. Out of the 4 mornings we went to breakfast here they only had yogurt on one occasion, which is odd, but really I have no complaints about breakfast. The front desk is polite and helpful. The AC worked well in the room, which is great since it was so hot during our stay. It was a loud unit, but that seems to be common. Large parking area. The hotel is next to interstate but traffic noise was never an issue.
The not so good....no fridge or microwave. That really was a bummer, it did not even occur to me that I could get a Hampton Inn without those items. Cleaning staff. Apparently if you are not out of your room when the cleaning person first stops by (8:30 or so), you are not going to get your room cleaned. If you put the do not disturb sign on the door, your room will not be cleaned. It does not matter if you take it off or not (we took ours off, we are hotel veterans), your room is on the "do not clean EVER" list. Two of our days here we had this happen. The front desk acted surprised, although I later learned this appears to be a not uncommon practice at this hotel, so my use of the phrase 'acting' above is appropriate. While getting coffee in the lobby one afternoon, I heard someone else complain to the front desk about the room cleaning, and then I overheard another couple at breakfast talk about getting their room cleaned since they were skipped the day before. Two examples are not enough to indicate a wipe spread problem, but given my limited interaction in the hotel's public areas, it certainly shows a deficiency that needs to be addressed.
Would I stay here again? If I had to, but I would look around for other options first.
Ask for a room with a fridge when you book!

Thank you for sharing your review. We appreciate your feedback (both good and items in which we need to improve). Our summer is very busy and feeding everyone with all of the items that are desired can be a challenge, our breakfast staff does its best to keep up with the demand of specific items.
We have King Study Rooms with Microwave ovens and refrigerators. Not all Hampton Inn's have those in every room. We wish we did! We are very surprised to hear about your experiences with housekeeping. We do have several folks that are staying long term with us currently that finish work and come in at 6AM to sleep most of the day, perhaps they confused your room with one of those. Our apologies. We will address this immediately.
