My husband and I have stayed here a great many times over the past years and have always found it to be spotlessly clean and the staff very friendly and helpful, especially Charles, who goes out of his way to assist. This motel is reasonably priced, and is very convenient for visiting all points of the Cape. They also offer the option of breakfast on the premises should you wish this.

Room Tip: If possible, ask to stay in a room in the back building. This may cost a little more each night, but...

We love our "regulars' who return every year. Charles is one of our best employees and goes out of his way to give the guests recommendations and help then in any way possible. Thanks for taking the time to write a review and hope to see you again when you need a Cape Cod getaway.

I got a LivingSocial coupon for this place and it was an amazing find. This hotel was very nice. The people who run it are veeery nice. I felt like I was at a friend's house, you just really feel welcomed. The man at the front desk was very helpful upon checking in, showing where the room was, giving the Wifi password, etc.
We had wanted to go whale watching and called the front desk to ask about any specials, they told us that there were and informed us that he would call back. In less than 5 minutes he called us back and gave us the prices and all the information we could need. We then went to the check in area and they set everything up for us, giving us tickets, travel info, suggested time to leave based upon popularity at the time. Upon checking out of our stay I also found out that they call to make sure we arrived, which I think was very sweet.
As for the food, there is a diner located on premesis. GO TO THAT DINER! You will not be disappointed. The diner is in a 50's style theme, really fun. You get a lot of food for your money and it is delicious! Being from New York you are used to small portions so I end up ordering eggs, bacon, and pancakes. When I received my plate I instantly knew I ordered too much food. During breakfast, while we were waiting, one of the women who runs it came up to us and asked us how everything was and how our stay was. She was very nice.
The rooms were nice, my only concern was that they didnt have a lot of outlets. They were mostly in use by appliances. So if you have a lot of electronics to charge you might have to take turns with each device. Not a big deal. The bed was spacious and comfy. I love the comforter.
The bathrooms were spacious and well kept, and so was the overall room.
If I could suggest a couple of things it would be to have a stronger internet connection, they do give you Wifi but the signal is very low (probably depending on where you are staying in proximity to the router). Another thing would be to have more outlets. Third would just be to get updated TVs. Yes, all my suggestions have to do with electronics, which is why I really dont find these things to be big concerns.
The location was great. There are plenty of places for dining in the area. Also there are really cool mini golf places near by.
Other than that, I had a great stay and I would definitely book a stay there in the future and recommend the location to others.

Room Tip: The rooms on the left side of the building have a nice view of a lake.

Thanks for your review. We truly appreciate such detailed reviews from our customers. While the Tidewater is an older property, we are always trying to improve the guest experience and update the rooms. New TV's are definitely on our wish list and we hope to change them out soon. We are also working on improving the WIFI. Hope to see you again in the future.

As many of the other reviewers we enjoyed our stay at the Tidewater Inn in the first week of September. We even extended our stay for two days. The room was large, very clean with all the amenities. Microwave in the hallway if you want to heat up your evening meal. The hotel's location is very convenient, close to everything; you can even bike from there to Hyannis by taking some back routes. Hotel staff is very helpful. We'll definitely be back next year.

Room Tip: Choose the upgraded rooms in the back buildings away from the road, on the upper floor (we were on t...

I have written reviews before about the Tidewater. I have always made a point of staying at the Tidewater when I am in MA. Not during any of 15 stays have I been disappointed. Clean large rooms. Beds and linen perfect and staff ready to answer any and all questions.

The Tidewater Inn was good value for money. Clean spacious room. Friendly informative staff. Had a problem with the coffee maker that wouldn't work and they replaced it straight away with no problems.
Used the indoor pool and hot tub - lovely after a day of exploring Provincetown.
Good location to explore the rest of the Cape.
Made full use of the chairs outside our rooms to enjoy the unexpected sunshine.
Didn't use the diner as had an early start to explore the rest of the Cape.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the inn. It is lovely and clean with the basics that are needed. The diner for breakfast was lovely, great blueberry pancakes and nice staff. The inn was a perfect base for exploring the cape and explore we did! Loved the cape and we also did a day trip to Martha's Vineyard which was well worth the money. I would stay at the inn again when we hopefully return to the cape in the future!

The tidewater was very nice for the money...Very clean rooms but rugs need to be cleaned or replaced(the sand makes them very dirty). All the staff were courteous and respectful. Would go back here again.

Room Tip: we stayed in the economy rooms but there are more expensive rooms with a balcony and view of water...
