“WOW!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 13, 2014

Not usual that I would give an RCI trade such a high rating - however this one deserves it. Clean, spacious, comfortable and in a great location. Staff was more than helpful and always pleasant. This is a must for those who want a little bit of extra room and comfort along with great pools and tennis. Easy to go east or west on the cape and located close to MA6 for quicker routing. We were there first weekend of June - great time - plenty to do. The units can accommodate (5) more or less 4 - upstairs loft (bedroom) and a downstairs sleeper sofa. One caution - do not get a town house if you can not climb stairs. All are located on the second floor and another 16 steps to the loft bedroom. They do have downstairs suites however. They are a member of RCI and Interval for those who are time share owners.

Room Tip: ask for a room with a view of the cove

We had a corner room on the main floor in the back with a view of the marsh and could see the tide coming in and out on our rear balcony with two chairs and table. The room was quite comfortable, two full baths, large walk in shower in one. Has a small fridge and microwave. No other cooking permitted. On site restaurant had just opened for the season. Kreurig style coffee pot. It was also very quiet, could not hear any of the neighbors but then it is off season. Nice large (Olympic size?) pool that has roped lanes for lap swim in the morning, plus jacuzzi and indoor children's play area. Outdoor pool was just getting ready for use. There is also a small beach area in the rear (I do not think for swimming) with a nice fire pit and half a dozen adirondack chairs. Decent fitness room with two elipticals, two treadmills and two bikes, some free weights and a multi-use machine.

Room Tip: Most external rooms facing the South/Southwest have a partial view of the water (a marsh and inlet...

My husband and I had a great week. The rooms are beautiful, we had a two story townhouse overlooking the river. It was quiet and we saw birds almost everyday. The room was well equipped, and had two bathrooms. Not the greatest layout for more than two as the bedroom, located up the stairs, does not have a door. The other sleeping area is a pull out couch in the living area. No cooking allowed but there was a mini fridge. Lots of restaurants close so not too much trouble to find something to eat. Indoor pool and hot tub were great as was the fitness room. There is no room service so you have to take your towels to the linen exchange. However, you can change them as often as you wish. All staff were very friendly. Not to far from the outlets or Boston but beware of getting caught in traffic if you go into the city.

Room Tip: Townhouses are on the second floor and are a bit more private but have stairs.

We are very happy we chose The Cove at Yarmouth for this Spring vacation week. We always have a great experience.
This time we are in Townhouse 144 - we are overlooking the pool which is perfect for this kids vacation week. Rooms are spotless and well equipped. The mini fridge is perfect for stocking up for breakfast lunch, and snacks! Microwave and toaster and all dishes and utensils are provided for you. We usually have dinner at 4 Brothers Bistro located right at The Cove or you can pick up very conveniently anything off the menu. (they call your room when ready ) many other restaurants very close and some deliver as well. The resort is located in a very convenient location if you need anything you are not very far away!
The pool is fantastic - it's not cold and the hot tub is nice and hot for 16+ , there is a activities center with plenty of sports and activities going on for all ages. Great place for family fun! This is our 3rd trip and we will definitely be back !

If at all please do yourself a favor and avoid this hotel during this weekend. There was a hockey tournament Saturday and Sunday called The Lobster Pot. There were kids from the ages of 5 thru early teens running up and down the halls unsupervised until 11pm both Friday and Saturday nights. This also left the pool area pretty much out of use for anyone that wanted to relax as there were balls and all sorts of kids things flying everywhere. We also had to alter our way from one staircase to another when a hotel worker had a bag full of empties so heavy that it broke with broken glass bottles all over the base of the stairwell. We also booked online and reserved a suite, when we got there the front desk person said she had no rooms for us and had to juggle rooms to fit us in. We ended up getting a townhouse instead of a suite which was a blessing in disguise as if we had the suite we would have had kids running above us instead of outside our door. We had do dodge kids even when we checked in as they were running all over the hallways while the parents were having their own private pizza party. You'd walk in with your luggage and they would look at you as if you'd walked into their own private home. We own there and it was extremely dissapointing to see others treat something that you've come to enjoy the way that these people did. Broken railings, debris from ceiling tiles on the rugs, pizza boxes everywhere, people parking in handicap spots....etc. We probably would have opted to stay home if we had known this ahead of time.

Room Tip: avoid this weekend and if you see a lot of kids running in the halls opt for the the townhouse as yo...

My family stayed here recently as a quick get away to escape the Winter blahs! Great indoor pool for swimming for the kids, plus activities to keep them busy. Close to great restaurants and shopping. During warmer months, mini golf is fun for the family. The Zooquarium is a fun take as well. The hotel has great rooms that are very clean and well furnished. Nice escape during this long Winter!

Stayed at The Cove again for 4 days during Feb vacation. Have been going there for about 7 years now and it just keeps getting better. As always the staff is awesome, from the front desk to the maintenance dept and housekeepers they are all superb.. Erin one of the managers always goes out of her way to accomadate the needs of the guest and I really appreciate her assistance each year.
We had been bringing our kids each year several families in all and now we are bringing the grandchildren, much funner. This year we had massages at the hotel and it was the BEST massage that all of us had ever had, very reasonable and the therapist was awesome. We will be getiing one every year.
4 Bros Bistro is no longer open for lunch so that was a bummer but everything else was awesome.
