This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. It is disgusting. The rooms are filthy and don't come with any shampoos, hairdryer, coffee, anything. We got a non smoking room with the duvet and sheets covered in cigarette burns. Rooms are cleaned once a week, I kid you not. It is advertised with "free continental breakfast". This consists of 1 box of cereal and a box of old, half eaten doughnuts at the front desk, which is a unattended shack. When we first arrived there was no one at reception. 30 minutes later the "manager" strolls in from an adjacent room, just out of his bed. It was early afternoon. He then denies the cheaper prices he quoted us on the phone so we have to pay more. In the pictures there is a pool. In real life there is a cesspool covered in tarpaulin. It seemed like we were the only idiots who chose to stay there as it was completely empty. We found out later that there are lots of much better, cleaner, cheaper motels on the same street. I really wish we had stayed at one of them as this dump ruined our trip.

This hotel seemed to be a fabulous deal. I booked it through an online travel company. When I arrived, they couldn't find my reservation, which I would have gotten over. But then, they tried to charge me more than I had already paid. They said this was because the online booking company took a large percentage of their money, and refused to believe me when I pointed at the reciept, which clearly stated that I had paid the booking company's fees separately. I had to change rooms because the first room was too small to accomadate my group, and they tried to charge me more money. When I finally got to the right room, the keys didn't work, and then we discovered that both the smoke alarm and the sprinkler had been removed. The second night of our stay, we were locked out of our room again, and they seemed surprised to learn that we had the room a second night, even though I'd paid for two nights. In short, this hotel is not worth it. It is decent if you ignore the poor service, but if you don't want to spend your vacation being angry, I'd suggest paying $5 more and staying at the Econolodge next door.

Parking lot should have been some indication - old cars rotting away - looks like some rooms are used as a boarding house. People partying, drinking beer kept us awake and at edge at night. Room definitely not the cleanest...

upon arrival they told me my family and I didnt have a reseration, now, being a travel agent, I think i know when i am going on a vacation. the service at the desk was extremly rude saying that i was wrong. what happen was i got there late and they gave my room away. now i am from new jersey and the whole cape was booked. the owner was not accomodating and down right nasty he didnt even try to help me find another hotel. I wouldnt stay there if i got a free night. the desk clerk at the sheraton ended up being a miricle worker and found us our last resort.
