“Coming back soon”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 26, 2014

I spent a very enjoyable weekend in Honeysuckle Hill. The place is very nice and quiet. Food is excellent. As a European, used to drink espresso in the morning, I appreciated very much a quality of coffee served for a breakfest. The major argument however, to visit Honeysuckle Hill again are unusual hosts of this B&B. Dear Nancy and Rick, thank you very much for your kind hospitality, for taking care of my trips to show me with insider know-how the beauty of the Cape Cod. You even fully equiped me for a nice afternoon at the beach. Thank you for a great choice of restaurants. I will try to come back soon. This time only for pleasure.

The B&B was lovely, beautifully decorated and welcoming. A beacon on a dark & cold night.

Sadly, I only stayed one night and it was very relaxing until this consistent tapping started as soon as I got into bed. I managed to get to sleep, but thought I was going crazy. In the morning, I was informed that Woody Woodpecker was on the night shift.

Aside from that it's a very peaceful location.

It's very much like visiting a beloved aunt's house. The room has a softish bed and small TV, the bathroom has a shower, okay towels and nice Tea Olive toiletries. There's no luggage rack, iPod dock, fridge or microwave. However, there is free parking and WIFI.

Rick & Nancy were welcoming and kind. Breakfast was worth waking up for.

I recommend this B&B for a quiet/romantic getaway.

Just returned home from a 4-night stay at Honeysuckle. All I can say is wow! What a perfect location for anyone wanting to visit multiple areas of the cape! We were greeted and made welcome by innkeepers Nancy and Rick, and Nancy was kind enough to tell us all about the different towns to visit, popular restaurants and activities to do.

Our room was absolutely beautiful, and breakfasts each morning were more than we ever expected. The coffee, pastries, and main dishes were the perfect start to our day. Anytime we needed anything, Nancy and Rick were always happy to help. We can't thank them enough for making our first trip on the Cape so memorable! We will definitely be back, hopefully along with family and friends!

Great experience. Rick and Nancy were great hosts and the house and grounds are exceptional. Both provided great travel tips and touring recommendations. Sandy Neck Beach is fabulous (but wear sandals, it's rocky) and only a few minutes away. Location is ideal for quick half-day trips to anywhere on the Cape. Highly recommended - and great breakfast included! Thanks again, to Rick and Nancy for being great hosts.

We stayed here from June 28 - July 2, 2014 and absolutely loved everything about our stay!! Rick and Nancy were absolutely amazing and thoughtful hosts. I can't think of one negative or even unremarkable thing about our stay. They provided us with great tips and recommendations for our visit to Cape Cod (our first ever!) and I might say we wouldn't have had as good a time without their help.

We were a family of 4 and reserved the 2 bedroom private wing, upstairs. Each room is air conditioned by a window unit and has a double bed that sleeps two (actually one of the beds seems larger...maybe a queen?) and there's a private bath attached at the end of a short hallway. There's also a mini fridge for your use. The beds were made each day and trash taken out when we returned from our outings.

This bed&breakfast is all housed in a charming historic (1800s?) cottage with a large screened porch. I'm a sucker for 1) historic buildings and 2) cottage style decor, aka florals and generally cute/pretty things. This place has all of it. And more.

The Inn provides you with beach chairs, beach towels, even beach bags and flip flops for you to use at your leisure - we felt this was really above and beyond our expectations. There are also numerous shelves filled with books that you can browse freely.

The breakfasts were to die for and a good mix of sweet and savory. Most days we were served fresh cut fruit (melons, berries, apples, pears, etc), some type of sweet baked good, and a main dish comprised of eggs or breakfast pastry, as well as a breakfast meat like sausage or bacon. This sounds like a lot, but the serving sizes were perfect. There's also coffee you can serve yourself in the dining area, as well as juice if you'd like.

I wholeheartedly recommend Honeysuckle Hill if bed and breakfasts are your preferred accommodations!

Room Tip: the window unit AC is a little noisy, so keep that in mind if you're sensitive to sounds at nigh...

Thank you very much! Your family is lovely, gracious and generous. We really enjoyed meeting all of you. Also, thank you for the feedback regarding the AC. We spent time in the room listening and agreed with your assessment, so we replaced the AC unit with a new one. Much quieter and more energy efficient...Yay!
We hope that if you are planning a trip to the Cape again, that you will stay with us!
Best,
Nancy & Rick

Been to the cape 100 times and this is the first time in a B&B. the honeysuckle inn is where travelers should stay if they want a true homey experience with informed and caring innkeepers. Rick and Nancy know exactly how to treat travelers in their home. They have been in the business for years and know what guests need. They know the area and the sights. They know what's going on and how to get there. The facility is top shelf b&B. Appointed with intelligent antiques selections the home is fascinating to walk about. The rooms perfect and the food inventive. You cannot go wrong with this selection!! Enjoy!
