But it could have been a lot better. Here's a summary of our 3 day stay in a lower level 2 double bedroom:
- internet constantly dropped or was not available at all
- deadbolt didn't work
- air conditioner very noisy
- bathroom was disgusting: mouldy grout, grout missing from one tile entirely, electrical outlet looked dangerous, shower curtain barely hanging on by anchors, old towel rack anchors still in wall, peeling paint, no fan. The bathroom really couldn't be worse.
- breakfast very basic and a tiny eat-in area (which was the lobby)
- ice machine sporadically dispensed ice, was noisy and leaking
- different front desk staff every time we walked by, at least 6 different people.

On the positive side, the fridge worked, the price was about $85/night and public transit was nearby.

I would not stay here again.

Room Tip: Don't stay here.

3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 25, 2013 via mobile

We got a king room which was unfortunately right in the reception area which made it very noisy. No luck changing it either, however there were rooms below us which appeared windowless so we decided perhaps we weren't so badly done. On opening the curtains of our window I was surprised to be greeted by the street and roadside, no nets or blinds, so if you wanted natural light in your room you had to forego privacy. The reception people were really lacking in charm and personality. The room was reasonably clean but needed a bit of extra attention to areas such as over the bedhead. This motel has no laundry but there is one a short drive away. Very small breakfast area, standard Super 8 breakfast. The parking was great and no charge. The location was good for getting into town to do Freedom Trail , we were going to bus and train ( bus stop right outside) and then decided to drive and use car park building which turned out easy as pie and much quicker. It was ok for the money but Im not sure I would be back.
