My wife and I wanted to grab a quick supper so decided to stop by this convenient restaurant. The decor was what you'd would expect and the service was the usual canned and wrote responses one hears in these types of restaurants, whether it be Chillis, TGIF, Applebees etc, the same service is provided. In regards to this visit, first of all, I received the incorrect meal, even though the waitress acknowledged that the error had happened, she did not ask if I wanted to have it replaced, I was not in a mood to push the issue (normally I would). When my wife received her meal, it came with garlic bread that was cold and rock hard. We suspect that is had been stale and then microwaved, but got hard very quickly. Again, when we mentioned it to the waitress, we got an "oh" and the "deer caught in the headlight look" - again no apology of offer to replace. On our way out, the girl at the front reception said goodnight in the same scripted robotic tone, that lacked sincerity. In light that I could have counted on both hands how many guests were in the restaurant, there seemed plenty of opportunity for the staff to be more attentive. Our waitress did not come back to check on us or offer refills on our beverages. There is discussion that Applebees may be considering the night club business - I think it needs to since it is unlikely to sustain business as a restaurant,
