“Nice Surprise”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 3, 2013

Needed a place to get a quick lunch before heading to the beach. We decided to take a break from seafood and figured we couldn't go wrong with a burrito. It was so delicious we went back a second time the next day. The burritos are great and you just pay a small fee per ingredient, such as olives, guac, salsa, etc. There are also burrito bowls. I highly recommend the chorizo option

“Great Burritos (for a New England Suburb)”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 12, 2013

It was a sad day when they stopped making breakfast burritos. They were awesome.

These are the best burritos on the island (for what that's worth). I don't know why they dump rice into it, ask them to hold it. I also don't know why they can't seem to nail a burrito as well as the drive through joints in Arizona and San Diego (the best in the country). However if you looking for a burrito locally, this is the place.

“Cheap is the only good thing about the burritos here”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 6, 2013

This place makes burritos with flavorless yellow (food coloring!) rice and canned beans. In fact the canned beans are stacked up in the middle of the little kitchen for all to see. I have tried chorizo, chicken, and beef - all are very marginal. The only thing this place has going for it is that it is the cheapest place to eat in Vineyard Haven. The staff is very pleasant - if only they could make a decent burrito...

“Awesome gluten free take out option”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 3, 2013 via mobile

Fresh, tasty ingredients, and friendly service. It is really nice to have an easy, cheap, gluten-free option for take out in Vineyard Haven. And they're open year-round, AND the owner is a great guy who happens to have grown up here. Sometimes the line is out the door, but it always moves quickly (read the menu as you wait to make ordering more efficient!) and there's lots of funky stuff on the walls to look at while you wait. The parking lot is tiny, but it's only for the businesses in that one building so there are usually spots. No seating, but we usually take it home, or picnic. Or just give in and eat it while stuck in traffic. Cause damn them burritos smell like heaven.

“Tiny place, BIG BURRITOS! Big Bargain!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 22, 2013

Funky, friendly walk-in as described in the other reviews. They are spot on. Incredibly large, tasty, made-to-order burritos with loads of options...and that's it! These are great! Unless you have a huge appetite, one of these will serve two, easily. Only reason we did not give 5 stars is that there is no place to sit, so you have to walk half a block to find a place outdoors to get your arms around the thing. No fun in the rain, therefore. Take plenty of napkins! Or order it (now) in a bowl!
