“Good value, good front desk people.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 29, 2013

Stayed overnight after attending a concert in nearby
Lowell. Hotel is basic, rooms are very clean, towels were fine. Room came with a refrigerator which was nice and cold. Although the hotel was full, we heard no noise. The free breakfast was adequate. The eggs are bad. Why can't this level of hotel serve decent eggs. Good toast and tea. Room was packed and there were not enough tables. We had to wait for a table.

Frontvdesk greeted us warmly and gave good directions to Lowell via back roads. Too bad these hotels don't have a little bar for drinks. We went about 1 mile down the road to a Longhorn Steakhouse for a beer after the concert.

Rates were very good for the weekend.

This is a great place to stay while visiting Boston. It took us 30 minutes to drive to the city, on the weekend. The the price is great, the rooms were clean and there was a great selection of food for breakfast. The only complaint is that the area to eat breakfast didn't have enough tables. It was a challenge to get a seat.

Great options for the free breakfast. I was able to grab fruit, yogurt, and coffee to take with me on the road each day. I was staying for a business function and was really annoyed that there was no gym. I stay in Marriott hotels all the time and most at least have one treadmill and a few weights. they have a "free local gym" that was not close at all. the entrance to to hotel is share with a Wendy's so that was not that nice to look at either. staff was really friendly though and there was always coffee, water, and fresh cookies and hard candy in the lobby. beds were comfortable.

This hotel was very clean and comfortable. It was conveniently located off of I-495. There was a Wendy's, Cracker Barrel and small convenience store with Dunkin' Donuts within walking distance. The employees were all extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was the basic hotel breakfast...cereal, waffle, scrambled eggs, toast, fruit, yogurt and danishes. The only drawbacks were the late service to our room...a couple of nights it was after 6 pm and there is only one elevator and it was extremely slow. But, these were minimal to us. We would stay again.

Checked in here on a mc trip, hot and tired the desk staff are excellent and when asked for taxi service to take us to dinner, they offered to drive us and pick us up. This is service at it's best. Room is very clean and reasonably priced.

this hotel is so easy to get to off the highway! the staff was welcoming, polite, and nice. they had yummy lemon water that tasted purified at the front desk in a glass beverage server (kids loved that they didn't have to drink the 'city' water from the tap). our rooms were very clean. the pillows and beds were comfortable. the decor was modern. they had paul mitchell shampoo and conditioner (none of that no name stuff that kills your hair!). there was a fridge w/freezer, microwave, and coffee maker in both the rooms we stayed in (not requested, so i am assuming all rooms have this). the breakfast was great and included: scrambled eggs (with three kinds of hot sauce to choose from), sausages, muffins, bagels, donuts, cereal, toast, yogurt, danishes, and fruit (all of which had 2+ choices as to the kind). also had hard boiled eggs, oatmeal, waffles, coffee, juices, tea, and hot cocoa. i may be forgetting something...but there was PLENTY! one disappointment was the pool...it is an outdoor pool and it was chilly and raining the night we stayed, so couldn't use it. in my opinion, all hotels north of virginia should have indoor pools!!! also, there were some late night loud guests in the hall that could be easily heard. it seemed the doors were not very soundproof- you could hear people talking as you walked by their rooms. for the price we paid, this was an awesome hotel!

Overall, this is a good motel. Its strongest performance is in its staff - very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Other plusses are the cleanliness of the rooms and location, near 2 interstates and a major local road as well as reasonable nearby choices for food. The bed I had in my 2 day stay was comfortable and the room quiet. On the less positive side was the rate - not out of line for this area (which is to say on the expensive side), but still seeming overpriced for value delivered. The motel is well kept, but dated, for example with a heat / AC that cycles air through a box in the window. A continental breakfast is included, but it is bare bones in a small area which must overflow in busy times. I don’t believe it has a fitness center. The driveway leading from the motel provides poor vision to the left as it connects to the road, making a left turn more of a challenge that I’d like. This hotel seems to be designed to compete head to head with Hampton Inn. If you like HI, you’ll probably be ok with this Fairfield Inn. One warning: don’t take seriously the inclusion of “Boston” in the descriptor. This site is not in Boston by a long stretch. If you want to be outside Boston with access to the City, stay in Lowell or Andover or other localities with commuter train service.
