“One of a kind...hands down!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 21, 2013

Lola's place is located on rt 20 in fiskhill and no matter where you are coming from you will have to agree the place is OUT OF THIS WORLD!! Weather you order a grinder, burger, or seafood (which is extremely fresh!) you will never be disappointed! The food is exceptional, service is awesome and the owners are always on site. You will feel like a family member when there, it is truly a "mom & pops" place. All meals are homemade ( not frozen!) and even come with a complementary dessert. Try it, you will love it!!

“Fantastic Seafood!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 4, 2013

My husband has been bringing home pizza and Italian food from here for a long time and then as a surprise he brought home salmon. It was delicious! I've never had take out that tasted so good! Every now and then we try something new and everything is great. He just has to mention he's picking up something from Lola's and I know there will be a great meal waiting.

“Hidden gen”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 16, 2013 via mobile

The waitress was on point and friendly. The food was so delish!! By the atmosphere and the dinnerware I thought it was going to suck but all the food is homemade with a healthy serving no one is leaving hungry. They even give you a homemade dessert included! This place is well worth the visit. You will not be disappointed.

“A great little lunch in a little out-of-the way restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 28, 2013

On Rte. 20, just over the Brimfield-Sturbridge line, in the little town of Fiskdale, is a restaurant so small with a sign so tiny near the road, that unless you are looking for it, you'll fly right by it. The restaurant is Lola's place, and I gotta tell ya..... unless my daughter suggested that we stop there for lunch after visiting St. Anne's Shrine, we would have just gone right be it also. But it is home to, hands down, THE BEST tuna grinder (hoagie, hero, sub) that I ever had. The tuna was mixed with just the right amount of mayo, with lettuce and tomato in a grinder roll toasted to perfection. I had it with a bowl, and I mean a BOWL, of delicious New England-stye clam chowder. Together, they made up a lunch special for $7.35. Now how can you beat that? It all came with Lola's pasta salad and pickle slices as well. Very yummy! My wife had the same, and my daughter had the fried scrod sandwich. We all declared it delicious.

Now, Lola serves up other grinders and pizza as well, and I can't vouch for those. But this I can tell you. We will definitely be back for other fare. So do yourself a favor. Next time you find yourself in the Brimfield-Sturbridge area, stop in for a lunch that will fill your stomach, make your taste buds happy, and give your wallet a breatha!
