Visiting the museum was a major high point in our coast to coast road trip from Boston to San Diego.

We really enjoyed seeing a large body of Norman Rockwell's work. He created a wonderful reflection of life in America in his lifetime.

“museum with whimsical illustrations which offers an insight into American history”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 25, 2012

I visited the museum as part of insight tour. The illustrations done by Norman rockwell are whimsical & centred on heartwarming theme of family & kinship. I joined the guided tour of the museum & learnt abt recent American history, such as the civil war, the mvt to stop slavery of blacks in US. Interesting museum!

“Nice museum”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 24, 2012

Nice to going back in time to look at the covers he painted. They even had a thank you letter from a man that lives in my home town. Little disapointed in the gift shop. I wanted some note cards with some of his prints, but they were not to be found. The gounds are so peacefull, short walk to his studio.
