“Our favorite place on the Cape!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 10, 2012

My family has been coming to the All Season's / Clarion for a number of years. There is no other place that we would consider staying for a number of reasons.

First of all, the place is an absolutely beautiful and well maintained property. The pool room is enormous, with a beautiful hot tub and is meticulously taken care of. It is so relaxing just to sit and relax in this beautiful setting. The rooms are comfortable and clean and the staff could not be more caring.

I have read some of the reviews regarding changing breakfasts and prices. This hotel has lowered the prices significantly recently...they understand that it is very difficult for families to have an affordable vacation and have changed their price policy to accommodate these changing and challenging times.

The very affordable $4.95 breakfast is perfect for people with or without children. There are freshly baked muffins, made from scratch oatmeal, fresh fruit , bagels and bread , juices coffee and tea. We love this breakfast and were told that it will continue throughout the winter months. In the summer there is a full breakfast and luncheon served by the outside pool if one desires.

I sincerely hope that those of you that have been to the Clarion before will return again and see what this place has to offer now. It is truly a jewel of a place to make wonderful memories with your family!

The former 4 Seasons Motel is now a Choice Hotels Clarion Inn. We stayed here in late August during our trip to the cape and they offer a nice package for the money spent. I will simply list the pros and cons of the Clarion that we observed during our 5 day stay.

Pros:
1. Very clean with comfortable beds and a small refrigerator in each room.
2. Both Outdoor and indoor pools (heated), jacuzzi and fitness room.
3. Free coffee and tea in the lobby every day from 3 till 10 pm.
4. Very friendly, courteous and knowledgeable staff.
5. The Cape Cod Creamery is right next door and offers discounts to Clarion guests.
6. The Clarion's central location on the cape makes it easier to get around.

Cons
1. The indoor pool area is uncomfortably warm (almost sauna like).
2. Their wi-fi setup does not work on all devices (my tablet would not connect although my friends laptop did). I understand that they have been working on correcting this.
3. The restaurant is only good for a quick breakfast on the run.

In short, this is a good place for families with young children of which there were many during our stay. If you are looking for a quiet romantic place to stay, this may not be the best choice. I would highly recommend requesting a ground floor room in the courtyard overlooking the outdoor pool.

Room Tip: I would highly recommend requesting a ground floor room in the courtyard overlooking the outdoor poo...

Dear SJKK77,

You are correct the Clarion inn was formerly the All Seasons and has been owned and operated by the Hemeon Abbott Family for over 26 years.

It continues to be extremely beneficial for the management of our resort to receive feedback from our valued guest. We enjoy the positive remarks which let us know that we’re on the right track while constructive criticism is especially valuable as it allows us the opportunity to make our Inn better by immediately acting on any shortcomings.

We look forward to your next visit!

I called for rates the first weekend in November and was told the rate was $159. I called back and told the host that we stay there the first weekend of November every year and the rate was usually $89. I was told the best they could do was offer a 10 percent discount. My friend who was staying with me called and talked to the manager and told him we stay every year and he was given a rate of $88.10. Another friend who stayed at the hotel went on Expedia and got a rate of $69. What kind of policy does this hotel have where they change the rates on the same type of room to three individuals parties who requested the best rate? I noticed the hotel was pretty empty. DAH

Dear Donald O,

Thank you for taking the time to share your recent experience at the Inn. We were disappointed to learn of the challenges you had with room rates.

We offer 3 types of rates at the Inn, Courtyard, Exterior View/Parking lot and King bedded rooms.

Third party websites sometimes have lower rates as they block rooms and create a "package deal" for travelers. We have no control on the discount they might offer travelers.

If you'd like to continue the conversation, we'd welcome the opportunity to speak to you. Please contact General Manager Steve Buckley at the Inn and let him know a good time to reach out to you.

Thank you for taking the time to write a tripadvisor review with regard to your recent stay with us.

We were traveling around the cape and needed a hotel for the night. The Clarion was a nice fit for us. The staff was friendly and helpful. There was a Kettle and Hearth across the street that actually delivered to the hotel. You could pay for the food or charge to your room. Really nice that we didn't have to go sit somewhere and could just eat in our room. It was really fast too! The room was clean and bathroom was nice too. Would stay again or recommend to any traveler. (We did not use the pool but it looked really nice!)

This was our first time on the Cape. We choose to go with the a "Choice Hotel". So glad we did. This place was clean, the front desk staff were very friendly. I wish I remember her name, but she took the time to explain to us some things to do on the Cape. She was very sweet and helpful. We decided to eat the buffet breakfast our first morning. It was delicious and our "waitress" was so sweet. She was working by herself b/c her co-worker called out, poor thing. She handled it all and was great. The pool area was clean, there were plenty of clean towels also. The whirlpool was very relaxing, not too hot, perfect. The only complaint we have is we could hear the person next to us snoring, they need to sound proof the place better. But overall we have a great time and will stay there again.

Room Tip: We stayed on the ground floor, it was perfect it had a slider door to the parking lot. Which was per...

We just had a family reunion down the Cape and the Clarion Inn was just right for us. We reserved 5 rooms for all or part of the weekend, and they put us all on the same end of the same hallway, which was great. The place is clean and well maintained, and the staff is super helpful and friendly. The property is a bit dated, the beds aren't as comfortable as at most hotels I've stayed at recently, but you won't find a nicer pool, hot tub and sauna at this price point on the Cape. We'd stay here again without hesitation, and I'd recommend the Clarion to anyone looking for an off-season Cape getaway.

Nice accomodations, spotless, great bed. We thought the rate was a little high considering we stayed there in mid-September. The hotel has discontinued it continental breakfast, and now charges $10.00 for a mediocre buffet. We didn't bite on that offer and instead went to McDonald's down the road.
