“Is this really Rt.28 Cape Cod???”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 24, 2013

Thanks tripadvisor as I followed the positive reviews to this Motels doorstep and wasn't disappointed. Grounds were landscaped to perfection so really not too surprised when opening the room door...Flawless. Beds were extremely comfortable with nice white crisp sheets and a 42' inch plasma mounted on the wall! Bathrooms small but spotless and the floors were Hardwood none of that musty like carpet here and met the owners Michael & Holly who couldn't have been any nicer so in closing I really give this establishment a perfect 10 out of 10. If staying in the mid-Cape area stay here there will be zero regrets trust me.

Room Tip: Further back are single floor units..Very quiet

We booked a single queen room last minute for one evening, and how lucky were we? The grounds were very nice, with a finely manicured outdoor pool, and seating outside. The rooms were immaculate. Maybe the cleanest hotel I've stayed at in years....which is very important to me. The towels and sheets smelled bleachy fresh, which was awesome. There was a simple complementary breakfast. The room was quiet (but came with earplugs and a sleeping mask just in case). I would absolutely stay there again, and hope to with the kids the next time. There was Cape Cod Creamery literally next door which was an amazing treat after a long day :)

This is a very good (and affordable) place to stay at the Cape! The rooms are really nice, very clean, bright and very well decorated! Michael and Holly, the hosts, were friendly and all the advice they give us were really helpful! The breakfast was also very good breakfast: bagels, muffins, toasts, fresh fruit, hard boiled eggs, cereals, coffee, etc.
The location is ok, 45 minutes driving to Provincetown and about 20 minutes to Chatham, but you have really nice beaches really close to the Hotel.
We enjoyed a lot our stay and I highly recommend the Escape Inn! I would like to stay here again when I come back to the Cape.
Thanks Michael and Holly!

Spent four nights here in late May 2013 with a friend. We had a huge room with two queen beds. By huge I mean about 400 square feet. Two sitting areas, even a walk-in closet. Although this is a motel it felt more like a bed and breakfast. The proprietors bought the property four years ago and they've been open for three years. They have renovated 13 of the 19 rooms. What pleased me the most was how crisp and clean it felt. The colors are perfect beach colors of sea foam green, blues, and whites.

The continental breakfast is adequate. I especially liked the raisin bread. Coffee and hot water is available throughout the day.

The location was central and we traveled in a different direction each day.

Thank you Tripadvisor contributors for pointing us to The Escape Inn.

This hotel was great. It was very, very clean. Nicely decorated rooms. Hotel owner was nice and friendly. The breakfast was great. The pool looked great. I would definitely stay here again, as it is very much centered and near many things.
As the previous poster mentioned, it is very bright in the room at night due to outside lighting. The hotel did have a sleeping mask next to the bed, which I ended up using because it was very bright.
The owners have done a great job of remodeling the rooms and making this a great hotel.

We only stayed here for a night as we wanted to stay in another part of the cape this time. Just about every hotel was requiring a 2 night stay minimum. The Escape was perfect as they have no crazy restrictions. Holy and Michael are always very helpful and super nice.

The Escape is amazingly clean as they even thoroughly clean the tables outside. The rooms are very basic as you will get a bed, 1 nightstand (I really wish they would add a second), a very large flat screen tv (wish it had more channels) and an air conditioner (which for some reason needs the windows open a crack...we didnt need to use it, but it might get a little loud outside from the road).

I know the Escape rooms are very clean because my wife normally takes rubbing alcohol and wipes down anything we touch (tv remote, blind rods, door knobs, etc). Normally you get a nice black tissue filled with dirt but not here. Tissue was clean because they do a very good job at keeping their rooms clean.

We will stay here for now on as we think it's the perfect home base. It's central cape and we can get anywhere within an hour. We love the clean room and the location (it's also next to an awesome creamery).

We bring our own pillows with us as we did have an issue with somewhat flat pillows last time. My only real issue I have is that the light from outside is too bright. I wish they would have a switch in the rooms to turn the lights off at night, put in a less wattage light, or put some sort of window shades.

My mother, sister and myself recently stayed at the Escape Inn in Yarmouth. We were greeted by Holly the owner who was cheerful and friendly. The place is immaculate and newly renovated. The rooms have hardwood flooring, comfortable beds, flat screen TV and have all the necessary items you would need to make your stay comfortable. It was off season but the pool was also immaculate. The location was perfect. The continental breakfast was a nice touch as well. I would definitely recommend this motel.
