This is a favorite with families and older couples and even though we don't fit into either one my husband ate there every week for over a year and enjoyed it. A few years back the waitresses were very attentive to my allergies and would come back to your table to make sure everything was ok . We went 6 weeks ago ,told them about my allergies after two mouthfuls I was happy I was prepared for a reactions. We decided to give it another try ,my husband enjoys italian which I can't eat. This time I ordered a salad with plain chicken ,the chicken was dry but I never had a chance to say anything because the waitress never came back. When she brought the bill I explained I didn't like the salad ( I expect the same lettuce as in the side salads ) I guess my fault for not asking,or as I was told by her. She never came back to my table I had to get up to get a box for my husbands' food. To give credit to the owner he did see how she was acting towards me and sat down and found out the problem. They have good pizza specials ,grinders are priced lower before 3. Eating food in the resturant is much better than taking it out, we ourder a sub for his lunch ,while it was filling in the resturant Subway had more meat when you take it out,he said "it was like it eating a grinder roll." When ordering supper twice he got home and he had to go back because there was food missing. When talking to the owner who is there most of the time he is open to hearing if something is wrong,I would say give it a try see what you think . Not for us anymore.
