If this motel wasn't adjacent to Yankee Candle (which my wife and I didn't even visit), I don't think they could get away with what they offer. The outside doesn't look like much. But the rooms have obviously been updated. No complaint about the room itself. The woman at the front desk was also cheerful and efficient. But the large parking lot is full of potholes. When I inquired about breakfast, I learned that there is none, but there is free coffee in the lobby. The lobby turned out to be about a football field's length away from our room. There is no coffeemaker in the room. My wife and I are seniors on a long cross-country trip. So we were not packing light. We did not appreciate having to lug 2 heavy suitcases up a flight of stairs to our second floor room. So although the room itself and front desk help were fine, I would rate this Red Roof Inn no better than average for its lack of breakfast, coffeemaker in the room and elevator.
