I recently stayed at this property with my husband and 3 boys, ages 10, 7 and 1 year. From the moment we walked into the hotel we were greeted with smiles and excellent service. We were welcomed with gift bags, a perk of the Holiday Inn Priority Club Program, which contained snacks and bottled water. This hotel is clean, comfortable and I would say exceptionally well run. The staff have a friendly competition program that recognizes great service and it shows that this competition is taken seriously and the individuals working there have pride in their work.

The hotel's restaurant, which is never busy, had great food and great prices---kids under 12 eat free if they order from the kids menu. The pool area was clean, had fresh nicely folded towels available at all times and had a life guard on duty. The pool which we thought was a kiddie pool was actually an enormous hot tub. The kids loved it. The lounge has a great pool table, good drink prices and a big screen tv which was great to watch the baseball games on.

The location of this property was key in exploring Boston. A few minutes from the T and you are at Sullivan Station which takes you anywhere you'd like to go. Locals were friendly and gave us many important pointers. We bought 2 $15 7-day passes and went everywhere by T. Kids ride free.

All in all, I would highly recommend this property to anyone, business, family vacation or just a get away. It's a great property at a great price. Don't be fooled by the looks of the town of Somerville, it may seem a bit run down with some littering issues, but the people are nice.

Highly recommended hotel. Rooms are clean, comfortable and above average. It's not downtown, but it's three blocks away from the Sullivan Square T station (station). We bought a 15$ 7-day pass that allowed us to travel as much as we wanted through Boston. So you can be downtown easily in 5-10 minutes.

We paid 79$ a night for a 2-doubles room through Hotwire so the price was great considering the relative luxury (3-star) and location of the hotel.

I highly recommend it to budget travelers who do not want to have to drive in the city. You can arrive by the I-91 without really driving through heavy traffic, leave your car at the hotel and go to the city with the "T".

I stayed here in the summer and was really impressed with the quality of the hotel.
We found it to be clean, with great service and also had a really elegant decor about it that you wouldn't always expect.
The rooms were spacious with everything you could need. The tvs even had an internet access option which was really handy.

The food was good and the waiting staff in the hotel were very polite and friendly.

not bad for a holiday inn, it was actually quite nice. good size room, quiet, clean, and the bed was nice and comfy. they even had firm pillows since most hotels only give you down. the pool looked nice but I didn’t get to try it out since I forgot my bathing suit. the room service was bleh but maybe bc I ordered the wrong thing (avoid the bourbon steak tips). the staff was super nice. I would def come back whenever im in the area. Cost was $146 inc. taxes
