“Great stop in Sandwich”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 5, 2013

This a very pretty, photo stop with lots of colonial history to boot. I pass it almost daily and always enjoy looking. There is an artisan well there as well

“Beautiful mill, great guides”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2012

This is a beautiful spot. We saw this mill in a two for one deal after vising the Hoxie House. Park at the Hoxie House (no parking at the mill) and walk the three blocks to the mill. The guides give an interesting tour and it is great to see the mechanics of the mill itself. They have cornmeal available for sale here, produced by the mill itself.

“Picture Perfect”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 24, 2012

Lovely grist mill on beautiful lake and river. The volunteers were retired gentlemen who were eager to answer whatever questions one might have. They truly enjoyed what they were doing.

“Very interesting old mill”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 22, 2012

We were fortunate to have 2 retireed gentlemen who enjoyed the job of explaining the mill and you could tell by the energy of their presentation. They were knowledgeable about the operation of the mill and could answer questions

“Nice historic stop”

I wouldn't make this a destination, however if you in the area its worth a 15min. peek. Great place for photos :)
