Last night, Friday, my husband and I dined at Tomatoes for the first time. We had heard mixed reviews but decided to give it a try. WOW! Fantastic food and FIVE STAR service. The entertainment, a singer and keyboard player, were wonderful. The restaurant was very busy. A woman was celebrating her 103rd birthday! We were seated at a small table in the area near the band. There was a wine special that we were not familiar with. The waitress offered to bring us a sample and we were sold. We told our waitress it was our first time there and asked for her recommendations because the menu is so huge. She (can't remember her name) very patiently went through the menu with us explaining the appetizers and entrees. My husband and I shared fresh oysters and split a caesar salad. We then had Prime Rib, cooked perfectly. and a very flavorful sausage dish! Our only regret of the evening was that we didn't have room for dessert. We will go back and recommend and highly recommend this restaurant.
