“Restful and relaxing”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

We enjoyed our stay here as we felt at home as soon as we arrived. The bed was comfy and the shower was invigorating. The breakfasts were creative, healthy and nourishing. The fridge was jammed with drinks, there were snacks available and even port and sherry on the table! Richard was very helpful with local attractions and ploys on how to reduce driving time! We enjoyed the fact that we were close to plymouth, chatham and indeed anywhere on the cape. The Sandwch Glass Musuem and the Heritage Gardens were also handy. The Dan'l Webster Inn nearby served tasty food.

We enjoyed our stay at the Quince Tree House; We felt right at home and could walk to the Webster Inn for dinner and nearby shops. It was a good location from Martha's Vineyard and up the Cape. The Innkeepers were very friendly and ready to assist and their breakfasts were not only delicious, but the presentation was nice, served on the pretty china and place servings.
The bed was comfortable and loved the fan in the room! Also, the fridge with water and soda, etc. was a nice treat too. This was one of the most attentive B&Bs we have been to.

Stay here! Dr. Samuel Beale suite was just right! Everything was comfy, clean, with great amenities. Breakfasts were an absolute delight! I don't usually eat a big breakfast, but could not resist. Yummy all 3 mornings. The Innkeepers are so delightful and helpful. This was a perfect weekend in Cape Cod and Sandwich is the perfect place.

We enjoyed our stay at 1830 Quince Tree House. We just did not have enough time as we were in Cape Cod to visit family and do graduation and dance recital. The house was set up well for coming and going and breakfast was great every morning. The only thing was that in our bathroom the shower was very small, and a special touch that I like when staying at bed and breakfasts is to have homemade goodies in the afternoon instead of bagged chips. Over all though it was a very nice stay and I would recommend it!

From the moment you arrive at the 1830 Quince Tree House, you are treated like an honored guest. The Inn's owners are friendly and very helpful. The entire property and especially our room and bathroom were meticulously clean and well maintained. Breakfast was sublime. I do believe it was the little things that made our stay so comfortable. There was a frig stocked with water and soft drinks as well as port wine and sherry each evening. Beach towels and chairs were also available.

The Quince Tree House (by the way there is a big quince tree in the yard) is located in Sandwich, MA. Sandwich is one of the first Cape villages. It is charming and has a fabulous Glass factory. From there were were able to drive to other towns, beaches, a whale watch and the art community at Provincetown at our leisure. We cannot wait to return to explore the The Quince Tree House again. I'll bet it is great in every season.

my sister and I have stayed in the Samuel Beale Suite, a couple of times a year, while visiting our aunt in sandwich...we always look forward to staying at the Quince Tree House, appreciating the lovely décor, cleanliness, delicious breakfast and hospitality of the innkeepers...the suite is perfect for the two of us, especially now with the new do-over of the queen sleeper and fresh up-date of the bedroom..we will be back!

Very happy I chose to stay at this bed and breakfast. The inn is close to everything in town. You can easily walk to all the great restaurants and shops. It is very peaceful. The room was very nice and clean with plenty of space. The breakfast was absolutely AMAZING! It was by far the best breakfast I have ever had anywhere. Not your traditional breakfast and I really enjoyed that it was something different. Super friendly innkeepers who are very accommodating. My friend has a gluten allergy and they always worked breakfast around her allergy. Great place overall and I would definitely stay here again.
