Apparently, this is a campsite owned by older people that have not camped much! The trailer sites are very cramped and I was very dismayed when I saw the conditions of the tent sites. Some picnic tables are nice, newly constructed, but the majority were splitting.
I think the pools were nice...only 4' deep, but no one went there to dive...it's more about the children. The playground is very nice, although the first few weeks had mulch, then they placed sand which was probably better. They have 2 tall trash dumpsters that are usually overflowing, or one is closed, the other opened but way too full to throw trash bags up. Then the back hoe will come over and smash the trash down, causing a horrible odor. Their advertised grass is plentiful, but it's a field next to the dumpster !
Ok, now for the construction site they are running in the area of the trash dumpsters: they have a large diesel backhoe, that starts up at 7:30AM and travels back and forth on the main strip of the park. There are dump trucks going by at all hours, and large pick-up trucks also.
And yes, the staff ranges from a woman who has no idea of rules, regulations and general knowledge, to a older woman (owner?) who is rude and extremely bothered by normal questions
Will we go back? NEVER
