“Quality in food lacking !!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed April 5, 2013

Steak Tips were terrible, all fat !!
Haddock w/ crab was served in a small tin dish and looked like a weight watchers meal.
Turkey dinner was another joke, it appears like shredded turkey ready for a soup !!
Wine glasses were dirty and the soda cups tasted like ajax.
The restaurant appears tired and the air vents make it so you can hardly breath. ( Need to be cleaned !! )
Our waitress Carol was friendly but a total ditz.
She did try but like the restaurant, she seems tired.
If you do try Spuds, proceed with caution.
Was informed that the Sunday kitchen help are the young kids who fill in for the Chef ( S ) !!!

“Steak tips !!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed April 4, 2013 via mobile

Looking for horsemeat?? The steaktips were all grissell and fat. This place is going down hill rather quickly. They have removed the special board from the dining area and placed it at the entrance of the restaurant, I find this rather odd. Competition will tackel this place soon.

“Not good”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 17, 2012

I always feel bad about writing a bad review but this place was just not good in so many ways. Only one of 5 of us had food that was OK. The atmosphere is kind of depressing. The food ranged from not good to downright awful. The cheeseburger was decent. The fish sandwiches were NOT good. They said it was fresh but it did not taste fresh. The onion rings were downright awful. We looked around and we were one of the few tables under age 70. We picked this place on recommendation from a local. They said it was great. We all left thinking WHAT??
It's the kind of food you would see in a cafeteria. I'd rather have a small plate of fresh food cooked really well then a big plate full of food that doesn't taste good. It is surprising how a cook can mess up such simple dishes.

“$9.99 babyback ribs on Sunday”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 2, 2012

Their ribs are fall off the bone delicious! And for that price you couldn't cook them at home. The food and service is consistently very good.
