It is what it is. Great sides (potato chips, onion rings and corn bread) and above average brisket and pulled pork, but skip the Memphis ribs (well, unless you like fat). It may the raw materials. Maybe you just can't source high quality ribs in greater Boston. This place tries really hard, but it doesn't quite make it. To put it in upstate NY terms, it ain't no Dinosaur, if you know what I mean.
Bonus points for the paper towel rolls at each booth, the popcorn maker and a nice selection of brews on tap. But a couple of deductions for the slow ordering process and, hey, how about either turning up the heat or building an entry foyer so that the 5 or 6 tables closest to the door don't get blasted every time the door opens?
