“Beautiful Location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 23, 2013

Well worth the visit although you should get there early. It was recommended to us by a jeweler in Rockport. You have to bring your own alcohol, but there is a liquor store about a mike down the road. Great food and great atmoshpere.

“Seafood Greasyspoon”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed September 22, 2013

This place was recommended by The Daily Telegraph - I don't know why. Nice location but that's all. If you want to pay over a tenner for a tiny hot dog roll with some lobster or crab in it and some greasy chips then this is cafe is for you. No service, you place your order and you collect it when it's ready. All served on plastic and paper. Poor example of New England hospitality. There are far better places. Avoid.

“Has its charms, but the lobster rolls are too small”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 18, 2013

For $16.95 at a seaside shack, one might expect more than a few chunks of lobster on a lobster roll. The lobster was fresh, but not really seasoned, and definitely a small portion. It fit on a standard sized hot dog bun. We were still hungry when we left. You can pay $20 for a lobster roll at Latitude 43 in downtown Gloucester with a nice ambiance AND twice as much fresh lobster (which also had nice seasoning)! We may go back one more time, but not for the lobster roll. Each lobster roll was served with one side (I had backed beans, my husband had french fries) and both were fine and plenty hot. We had no qualms about the basic surroundings at all--just a little disappointed in the serving size for the price, when their overhead can't be that high.

“Road Side Seafood”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 9, 2013

Considering that I am not a seafood lover, I ordered the chicken tenders and fries and did recieve a large and tasty dish. My three friends ordered different seafood meals and they all enjoyed it. Difficult finding a parking spot and a table, but it was good.

“joLocation.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 5, 2013

A really sweet spot to grab some great seafood. Sit, relax and enjoy and BYOB, I ordered a Lobster roll which was on the hotdog bun but very fresh and chuck full of lobster. A bit pricey but a great view of the cove. Indoor picnic style seating or outdoor picnic tables. Pleasant service and quick service but it was Thursday at 3:00. If you have a chance walk over to Halibut Point on the right hand side of the cove for a quick hike and you won't be disappointed by the views. A great find for lunch on a secluded cove.
