Color photos are 'colorful' and the site for this 'B&B' shows some brilliant shots of a New England seaside farm converted to a nice inn. And, indeed it is nice... not as brilliant, not as well kept up but really a fine Bed and Breakfast... continental style. Shelly makes a very good quiche and along with fresh fruit and muffins, breakfast was satisfying. We both would've like some good old fashioned 'scrambled eggs' and thick country bacon but Rockport has stingent code for inn keepers and the continental 'license' is easier to obtain and live with. We had a fine room (bed a bit too firm), spacious and breezy, nice kitchenette and overall a very pleasant stay. B&Bs are not for everyone but this really is a well run, maintained and pleasant inn and worth your consideration. We'd go back again.
BTW, Carl seems to be gone and everyone is concerned. He and his dog were wonderful 'fixtures' and missed!
