Only $2.00 to park, with self guided trails and nature abounding, this is a must for anyone going to the Cape Ann Area. You can see Maine and New Hampshire shorelines from one of the overlooks! Nice wide trails, you get to see the ocean raging on the rocks from various heights on the trails, and you are able to get up close and personal with the waves as well. There was an interesting group of stones arranged by locals and tourists looking like a mini-stonhenge or rock balancing sculptures competition. Really a great place to walk, hike, jog, walk your dogs, and I imagine in the summertime, would be a great place to keep cool with the wonderful sea breezes. The quarry was so large, yet we walked around it with ease and it seemed to take very little time to complete the circle. Going to the ocean shore was a longer trip, and it was interesting to see the local houses along the park as well. They have a great backyard. Too bad the building wasn't open though - they had a large handicap size port-o potty in the parking lot area. A great place for photos!
