Ended up here because all intown Starwood and Hiltons were booked. Property is 5 miles from airport, going away from downtown Boston. The neighborhood is a working class suburb, nothing scarier than that. Northgate Mall is next door with CVS for any missing items. Nothing to be afraid of. Pizzeria Uno next door.

The property is in average to good shape for its age. Pool is very small. Bisuteki Japanese restaurant was a nice surprise, quite good. Ate there 3 nights as we had storms each night at dinner time. Also a cafe restaurant serving breakfast/lunch/cocktails. Had a great meal at Uncle Pete's ribs, out the door and left on Squire Rd about 8 blocks. About a 10 minute walk, although not very scenic. Food was worth the effort.

Staff did a nice job, coffee was out early each morning, newspapers delivered to room.

Key to this hotel is the shuttle. From the time you call at airport they take 10-20 minutes for pickup, then it's a 15 minute ride to the hotel. Each morning I would get on shuttle to subway station and go downtown. From hotel door to downtown Boston totals 1 hour. Going back is again about an hour. You ride to the Wonderland subway station, then call for pickup. This was never an uncomfortable experience, but isn't the quickest way to get around. Drivers were very helpful.

Overall good value for the price. If you can live with getting around on the shuttle and the subway you'll be rewarded with a good value hotel.

“Terrible Hotel!”

Four Points Boston Logan International Airport

We stayed at this hotel for one night in may of 2008. First off we needed the shuttle bus from the airport. My husband called and the front desk person said it would be 5-10 minutes. After about 25 my husband called the hotel again. It took them 12 rings to answer and they said it would be 10 minutes. Fortunately it did arrive about 15 minutes later. We arrived and checked in. Our room was not in good shape. The bathroom faucets were rusty. The plastic shower was cracked and broken (I wonder how much mold in growing behind there). The wallpaper in the bathroom and room were peeling away.
We had an early flight so we asked the front desk person if we needed a reservation for the shuttle. She assured us that if we arrived 5 minutes before the shuttle was scheduled to depart we didn't need a reservation. We did arrive 5 minutes before the shuttle was scheduled to depart. The shuttle sat outside idling for 15 minutes with the doors locked. The shuttle bus driver was having a conversation with one of the other staff members. There were 6 of us waiting. I finally asked what time the shuttle was leaving. The front desk person offered a time of 10 minutes later. I said we arrived for the 5:45 shuttle at 5:35 so why wasn't there a 5:45 shuttle. He said that the 5:45 was full and left early. Very poor communication on the part of the hotel staff! Glad I was staying at this dump with starwood points. I couldn't stomach paying for this place.

“Comfortable hotel w/ nice amenities, but not an "Airport Hotel"”

My wife and I booked this hotel the night before a flight since we had a 5:30am departure from Logan airport the next morning.

It should be made clear right up front that this hotel is not what anyone would consider an "airport hotel". It is about 5 miles from the airport with no traffic (as other posters have mentioned), but with traffic in the Revere/Chelsea area, it can be a nightmare. Furthermore, it is not near the T or public transportation either which makes accessing this hotel difficult.

The hotel does have a nice Japanese restaurant downstairs, small fitness center and pool, free internet, breakfast, and is next to a Pizzeria Uno. The lobby staff seemed extremely overworked when we checked in and as such we were given less than a stellar welcome considering my Preferred Starwood status.

If you have an early morning flight, this is a good, cheap hotel, with the Stay, Park, Fly option, but otherwise, it's not the best option.

I suspect that the same marketing guru who called my connecting flights a "direct flight with an equipment change in Detroit" came up with the idea of marketing this hotel on Rte. 60 in Revere as the "Four Points Boston Logan International Airport". Having said that, they have an efficient 24-hour courtesy shuttle to and from Logan Airport, and it takes just under 15 minutes to make the 5-mile ride when there's no traffic, so it is a more efficient choice if you have a late night or early morning flight than a downtown hotel that might be closer to the airport, but more expensive to get to. Shuttle drivers and front desk staff were friendly and efficient. The mattress wasn't very comfortable. The carpet didn't appear particularly clean in the corners and there a few little ants scurrying around on the bathroom counter, but we didn't interfere with each other's enjoyment of the premises.

The hotel has a Japanese steak house on the first floor, but I decided to look elsewhere for dinner after I had waited in the long line for a few minutes and the only "contact" I had with a staff member was overhearing one waitress complaining loudly to another that they didn't tell her they were out of something until a half hour after she put in her customer's order. There's a Pizzeria Uno and a Friendly's in the shopping plaza next door.

Bottom line: If you want a hotel for an early morning departure or late night arrival at Logan and you bid for a 3-star hotel near Logan on Priceline and get it for $64 like I did, there's no reason to be disappointed, but if you are paying full-price for an airport hotel, the Hampton Inn and Holiday Inn are in the same category, are both closer to the airport, and are both a little nicer in my humble opinion. Nicer still are the Hilton and Harborside Hyatt which I have also gotten on Priceline (4-star) for a comparable price on occasion, but which were not available for under $85 this time.

“A GREAT start to a GREAT vacation”

We decided to start our Disney vacation a day early by staying at Four Points Revere before flying out of Logan Airport the next morning. Price of the hotel room was comparable if we were to park the car closer to the airport for the week or get a limo service to bring us in from Auburn, MA. and back. The check in went very smoothly and our room was fairly large and was located in one of the towers on the top floor. It was facing a very busy Route 1 and I thought I would be listening to traffic all night but this was not true the room was very quiet. We ate supper that night next door at Chicago Uno which was nice. We also took advantage of the rather large shopping center next door to get a few more items we needed for the trip. The kids and I took a swim in the pool although rather small it was still a nice thing to do. We retired that night in very, very comfortable beds. The next morning we took the shuttle service over to the airport (15 minutes) without any problem. We returned from our trip called the hotel and within 20 minutes we were on our way back to the hotel in a shuttle to pick up our car and go home. The kids loved this whole experience as an added bonus to our trip and we are already talking about doing it this way again.
