5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 8, 2013

Service was nice (prepared vegetarian or vegan meal on request). Nice ambience. Has private room for parties. Food was well prepared.

“Huge disappointment”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed July 8, 2013

We have eaten at the stoneforge on numerous occassions and have always enjoyed it. Last night the service was nothing less than absolutely lousy. Our salad and soup arrived with our meal instead of ahead of it. We waited for a good 20 minutes trying to find our waitress to refill our drinks. Then they sat a huge party next to us that was loud and obnoxious. We voiced our concern to hostess as we simply couldn't find our waitress. She basically sent our waitress over, 10 minutes later.

“Lobster bisque”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 20, 2013

That's the start of a just incredible surprising meal.
Best lobster bisque in a while. Very buttery but good.
They also had Mac and cheese with lobster.
One person had that and they said it was great?
I had he king size prime rib and it was really tasty and big.
29.95 and worth every penny of it.
I also tried the New England clam chowder. It was good but not like the lobster bisque

“Great for a business meeting”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 17, 2013

This restaurant is one of the few choices for a high quality meal and an atmosphere conducive for business. My boss and I took a valued supplier to the Stoneforge for a pre-meeting meeting.
The service was great and each of us enjoyed the food. I had the scallops which were prepared superbly. The sautéed spinach was very flavorful and the greens in the salad we fresh.
I would recommend the Stoneforge for a quality meal in an “upper scale casual” setting. They have three course meal specials for under $30.00 that I will try next time.

“Slow service”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 27, 2013 via mobile

This is probably the best place to eat in the immediate shopping area. (Other nearby options include fast food and various 'Tipsy MacStaggers' (aka Applebee's, etc)

Nothing stellar here but the Stone forge has a decent beer selection and a pretty good bar food menu. I often order the seafood chowder and crab cakes. They have some interesting pizza selections.

While the food is a solid B the service is sloooooow. On various visits I've had to track down my server to get a check or drink refill.
