“Best Pizza in the World. Yes, In the World!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 29, 2012

I've had great Pizza in Rome and Manhattan. But nothing surpasses the Lynwood. Over the years I've driven from Newton, Cambridge and now Seekonk, MA to eat this luscious pizza. My kids are now adults living in various places and when they come back to the area, they want to make a trip to the Lynwood. Whenever I've taken one my kids to get a pizza in say, Hell's Kitchen or on Arthur Avenue in the Bronx, I always ask "Do you like this pizza?" If they say "yes" I ask them is it as good as the Lynwood?" They always answer "no." If you're looking for waiters to fill your water glass every three minutes, this isn't the joint for you. But if you want great pizza, go to the Lynwood!

“YUMMM!! Lynwood!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 12, 2012

I can't express how delicious this Pizza is! I drive to Randolph from Boston for these delicious pies. This is not Italian style, it is bar style, and, they do it right. I don't know what it is.....the crust, the sauce, the cheese, the combination, I don't know, but, it is YUMMY! It isn't really a "restaurant". It is more a bar that serves pizza. They don't have anything else on the menu except for bags of chips, and, I do think it would be good if they had side dishes, or, salads, but, the pizza is really what keeps me going back. The decor is definitely 70s-80s, but, it is always clean, and, since I'm not expecting linen table cloths, and, white glove service, it's ok with me. I think it's all in what you expect. If you expect to have linens, and, china, don't bother with the Lynwood. If you expect delicious pizza, cold beer, and, friendly service, in a clean and tidy place, then you won't get better than here! Here's a tip for you........it takes at least a half hour to get a pizza here, so, do like I do, and, phone your order in, and, tell 'em you're eating there, and, it is fresh and piping hot when you arrive!

Consistently great pizza and certainly worth the drive if you're searching for some of the best pizza anywhere.

“Still the best pizza period”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 8, 2011

This place has been around for as long as I can remember. The pizza has always tasted the same and it is the best. Prices have risen over the years but based on the number of pies made daily, people still love them. The restaurant is not much different as it was maybe 20 or more years ago. Short glass drafts are a favorite.
