“Great Hike”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 17, 2013

Great Hike. Wonderful for photographers! Be prepared with water & a snack. Also, make sure you have proper shoes. The rocks are the first part that...but the sand really takes some energy to get through. Also...don't be fooled...its farther than it looks...but totally worth it to say youve been to the tip of cape cod!

“Best Ever!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 13, 2013

There is nothing quite satisfying as being able to say you have gone to the beach at the very tip of Cape Cod! You can walk out to the beach but we took Flyer's Shuttle out to Long Point last summer and although it was a little overcast it was an amazing day. The ferry was very reasonable $15 and it runs hourly. We spent the day watching a family of seals, walking the beach and taking pictures of the lighthouse. Pack a lunch, bring a blanket and chair and you're all set!

“swimming.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 8, 2013

Love the swimming and relaxation of the area . Off the beaten path and it used to be a very private area until the Seashore takeover attracted more people. We used to anchor and swim off the boats and have a good time when we grew up here. Thearea is more known now and you have to search for a spot to anchor on weekends. Week days are more private with less people and commotion.Still my favorite spot to go to for summer swimming and relaxation

“Off the beaten path and a favorite of locals”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 12, 2012

Long point is the sandy tip of Cape Cod across from Provincetown Harbor. It is literally "Land's End". It's a a great respite from the crowds in Provincetown. Sandy beaches can be accessed via boat, kayak or taxi from Flyers for $10, or via walking the 1.2 mile jetty and crossing the beach on the other side of the jetty. It's the perfect spot to have lunch, but you must buy the sandwich in Provincetown because there are no shops on Long Point. Beautiful scenic views of Provincetown can be had on Long Point. Also, there's a unmanned light house there. And, occaissionally you can spot a whale passing by in the distance from the shore.

“Perfect day at the beach”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 20, 2012

What a gem..forget the busy PTown beaches...you can take a short boat/ferry ride (from Flyer's rentals off Commercial Street) and in 15 minutes you are on a perfect sand beach, looking back towards PTown and off to Truro..maybe 25-30 people on a mile of sandy beach..no facilities but pack a pcinic and have a great time! The ferry runs every hour until @5:30pm or you can walk from the PTown INn (@1.5 miles but over a 1/2 mile of large rocks)
