My Partner and I stayed here in late September for 3 nights. We stayed in the Captain's Quarters, which is a cosy en suite room in the eves of the house. What made our stay was our host Micheal. A really nice guy, who made us very welcome, got everyone chatting at breakfast and gave us loads of local info. Not the plushest room or biggest bathroom you'll ever see but certainly the best B&B we've ever stayed in! We visited Provincetown outside of the main season but there was loads to do, plenty of places to eat and the beaches go on for miles. I'd defiantly recommend renting a bike to explore the dunes, available just across the road from the B&B.

My wife and I travel to Cape Cod every year and love PTown. When a scheduling problem occurred with another B&B, Michael stepped right in and made sure we had a place to be. The place is stunning and immpecably clean. Everything is top end and made to make you feel like you are home. Michael is a great host, perfectly balancing between "We will do anything and everything for you" and "Enjoy PTown and I will stay out of your way". One block off of Commecial Street, walk to everything that is great. Quintessential PTown.

'A Secret Garden Inn' is the perfect choice for those looking for a cozy room, the most welcoming hosts and a wonderful atmosphere!
A very loving owned and managed hotel with attention to detail, a delicious breakfast and an atmosphere as if you were at home. The previous best hotel of my trip and just a wonderful place to stay. If I ever come back from Zurich to Provincetown, I will come here with pleasure.
Travelers and traveler, go there, you will not be disappointed.

Tucked away down a private driveway, we opened the Secret Garden gate. We walked into a quaint "fall" garden. It was sprinkled with some leaves and gave us the feeling it was a place to sit and rest after the long hot summer. The warm cool breeze beckoned us into a courtyard separated with cozy seating areas. Down the plant lined stairs came Mike with his prize winning smile. He guided us up the to the chair lined porch into the house. He gave us a tour of the common rooms and our bedroom. The house was clean and neat and gave the impression it was cared for, with love, around every corner. The style of the rooms were eclectic with modern, antique, with a sprinkle or two to remind you of the old sea captain that once lived there in 1830. After a quiet peaceful night, we woke to see the kitchen table set up with fresh baked breads, coffee, jams and fresh fruit, etc. We had a wonderful breakfast and talked to two other couples. When it was time for us to go, we received a warm good bye from Mike. We sat quiet in the car and let the GPS talk us out of this beautiful, historic community. It was quite a while before we spoke....it was like we both did not want to break the peaceful and contented spell we were in.

We just recently stayed at the Secret Garden guesthouse and were thrilled with our stay. Michael could not have been more helpful and friendly. We have stayed at numerous properties in Provincetown and would have to place this B&B high on our list. Great location, morning coffee, parking, wonderfully appointed rooms and a peaceful garden make this a must stay for those visiting P-town. We will definately be repeat quests. Hats off to you Michael for a great job!!!!

We arrived in Ptown without a place to sleep. The tourist information recommended the secret garden and a few minutes later Michael gave us a ride to his place. It's very quite, clean, cozy - just perfect. Very close to everything. It felt like home and the owner was very friendly, very obliging and always good for a joke. We will get back, for sure!

My boyfriend and I just returned from a perfect four-day stay at Secret Garden. We felt as if we were staying with friends while there. Michael was the perfect host, always attentive and asking for our input as to what he could do to continue improving the place to make the stay even better for future guests. Left water bottles and wine glasses for us in our room. I can't say enough good things about our host - we both loved him. We stayed in room 4 with the private bath, and while on the small side, it perfectly fit our needs. We were barely in the room anyway, and there was an upper balcony that you could sit on and have a water view as well. Breakfast was good - fresh cut fruit, bagels, croissants, oatmeal etc. Location was perfect, right by the center of town but set back and secluded. Just a great experience all in all. If we return to Provincetown we will be sure to stay here again.
