“AWESOME time- what a fun place!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 6, 2013

Commercial street is a great place to visit filled with amazing shops and restaurants! We spent almost 2 full days walking around and had a blast! Our favorite bar/restaurant was JD's and the shops had something for everyone!

“Interesting and fun”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2013

you will most definitely want to pay for parking somewhere. Trying to find a spot close to commercial street is just plain crazy, and you don't want to actually be driving on commercial street either, it is beyond pedestrian heavy. The shops are fun to visit. Stop at the Portuguese bakery and get a malasada! (Portuguese fried dough)....yum! I actually don't like fried dough from carnivals and such but a malasada is just, well, fantastic! Commercial street is very close to the water, so you can pretty much take any side street and end up at the beach. The natural beauty of outer cape is just breathtaking. <3

“There is nothing like this in the world”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2013

It's hard to describe what this street is. The best I can do is say that it's an eclectic mix of stores, restaurants and galleries. It's also an eclectic mix of lifestyles. I loved it. The closest street that it compares to is Front Street in Lahina, Maui. We spent about 5 hours here and could have easily spent 5 more hours here.

“Diverse, interesting, fun, friendly”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 29, 2013

You'll see everything from families with pets, singles, straight couples, gay couples, drag queens in hilarious outfits on bicycles, riding electric cars. Good restaurants, but do your homework so you don't get ripped off. Some have raised prices, and scaled down portions.
