“Perfect Provincetown B&B That Gets Better Every Year”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 22, 2011

Just got home from another wonderful vacation in Provincetown and already looking forward our next stay at Gabriel's. We first discovered Gabriel's in January of 2000 when planning a romantic winter weekend in Provincetown. We loved the B&B from that first trip and have stayed there multiple times over the years, and consistently for the last 5 years.

The rooms are a comfortable home away from home (we've stayed in Quan Yin, Willow, Ariel, Colette, & Agatha Christie), the Tempur-Pedic mattresses are beyond comfortable, and the spa-like bathrooms that are in many units are delightful. In winter the fireplaces in each room make for a very cozy and romantic weekend away. The central location is perfection for walking Commercial Street, easy access to restaurants, and close to the beach bus, but somehow retains a private hideaway feel once within the inner courtyard. Included parking, a fantastic breakfast (Jean was great this summer), attentive and friendly staff just add to an already perfect B&B experience. Elizabeth and Elizabeth have thought of everything to make you want to return year after year.

What can I say.. The nicest Inn we have ever stayed at. It has it all here. Great hosts who make you (and children) feel welcome from the moment you arrive (which after an awful nine hour drive in a foreign country was really appreciated). A beautiful room with just about everything you could desire - jacuzzi bath, log fire, tea/coffee making facilities and the most comfortabe matress in the world! This Inn was the highlight of our holiday in Cape Cod and breakfast time was a real surprise - home made breakfasts.. we are not just talking sauasage and eggs here, home made muffins baked that morning, home made gronola..I could go on. it was heaven and so was the company (special mention to Jean). Our 18month old loved the breakfast room filled with toys and other goodies not to mention the beach which at some point we had to ourselves. We loved it so much we extended our stay. We have such wonderful memories and can't wait to return sometime soon, it was like home from home but better!

Clean, great common areas, great management. My partner and I have stayed here about 6 times over the last 15 years, always felt right at home. Very accommodating. Pet friendly!! Good breakfast!

We stayed at Gabriel's while in Provincetown for a wedding. We had the "Willow" room, which is like a junior suite with a kitchenette. The room was spacious and comfortable, but the best part was the shower. It's huge with rain-style shower heads and jets on the walls. It was like going to a spa! The breakfasts were very good and cooked to order. They also have umbrellas, games and DVDs that can be checked out from the front desk, all of which helped on a very rainy weekend.

Room Tip: Check their website for photos of all the rooms, since each is unique.

We made reservations for a 5 night stay at Gabriels at the Ashbrooke Inn. We stayed in the back building in the Michael/Patrick unit. Sleeps 4 or 6 if you use the futon bed. It was a very nice place. Each room has its own private entry which was great. We Loved the fireplace and 3 flat screens. Also has adjoining door to split off rooms which was very private for us each with own bath. Loved the granite kitchen-i mean it has a full kitchen. Very unusual for ptown and lots of space for the 4 of us. Plus we had the dog and we were right next to Bas Relief Park. Wow how convenient. You can tell it is newly remodeled as everything was beautifully matched and it really made our stay special. Right in center of town and near to everything. Easy walking +parking is included too in nearby lot. But we never needed car except for Herring Cove beach. So booking these adjoining rooms were great-oh yea 2 full size baths. Loved the double head showers. And temperpedics are wonderful. We know we will go back and almost forgot the breakfasts are great + included in cost of stay. NOT a donut+ coffee- a full homemade breakfast which was quite gourmet and lots of choices. That alone could have cost us $75 a day easily for the 4 of us. So yes. We got our moneysworth and for us our room accomodations were as lovely as the hosts. Thanks for making our stay so special.

I've had the pleasure of staying at Gabriel's twice over the past few years. This time we stayed in "Hope". The room is small but cozy and for the price, the ammenities more than make up for the size of the room. The room is dog friendly in the highest sense. The floors were hard wood and the in keepers make every effort to provide anything and everything your pooch may need. A park for dog walking is directly next door as well and has a handy garbage can right on the corner. The room includes a queen size tempur-pedic mattress, fireplace, and kitchenette complete with granite counter top, sink, 2 burner stove, and mini fridge. The cabinets have all the necessary cook ware and there is also a microwave, toaster, and Keurig coffee maker in the room. There is a flat screen TV/DVD combo opposite the bed as well and bathrobes hanging on the wall. Breakfast is cooked fresh every morning and is included in the price of your stay. Coffee and other beverages are available throughout the day as well as fresh cookies. There are DVDs available for guests to borrow at any time as well as umbrellas, all you have to do is sign one out. On entering your room you will find some delicious Ghiardeli chocolates and each room key has the phone number of a local cab company attatched to it. Sometimes it really is the small touches that make the difference.
