After visiting Provincetown for over 20 years and staying at over 15 hotel/B&B/Inns, I have now found my home. For the record, I have spent 25 years in the Hospitality Industry and know my stuff ;-) Salt House Inn is hands down the best accommodations there is to find in all of PTown. For starters this place is gorgeous. They did a spectacular job decorating it. It is immaculately clean. The bedding is amazing. It's location is super convenient to Commercial St. (just 2 blocks) but perfectly quiet in the evening. Great showers with excellent water pressure. Wonderful air conditioning and great TV's with a ton of channels to choose from. I did not partake in the Breakfast, but I had friends staying there at the same time who did and they said it was lovely. The deck is fantastic and is a great place to catch some rays, work on your PC and/or read a book with a cocktail of cup of joe. Kevin & David are professional, gracious and all around kind guys. I guarantee you that if you stay at the Salt House Inn, you will be hooked.

Room Tip: The Loft is UNBELIEVABLE!!!!! Well worth the $.

Kevin & David were wonderful hosts, and the Salt House Inn was more then we had expected. My fiance and I wanted a quick escape from Boston. When we arrived, we were greeted by David who spent almost 15 minutes giving us recommendations of places to go, as it was our first time visiting. We were given advice on cocktails, dinners and beaches! This added touch literally changes our vacation, because we went to only top-notch locations that locals know best. The room was immaculate, and the location was perfect to the town center.

I highly recommend staying at the Salt House Inn!

We first learned of Salt House Inn from Boston Magazine's "Best of Boston" issue and made a quick 3-day/2-night visit earlier this month. Because it was last minute we had 2 different rooms for our 2 nights. Our first night was in the Deluxe King, a lovely room with a separate sitting area, while our second night was in a Standard Queen. This room's bathroom, while private, is a few steps down the hall, but this was not an issue in the least. Kevin and David, the innkeepers, are amazing hosts! Kevin chauffeured us from and to the ferry and created outstanding breakfasts each day. To demonstrate their commitment to first-rate hospitality, I mentioned that the day before was my birthday, and when we returned to our room, there was a card, a dish of almonds, and a chilled bottle of rose waiting for us! We are eagerly looking forward to a return visit.

My husband and I had a great time. Kevin and David answered all questions, the deck and rooms were beautifully decorated and breakfast was great. We even got the recipe to their breakfast granola bars. They had great recommendations for things to check out on Commercial Street and restaurants to try. They offered towels and beach umbrellas for the day. We both had a great time and would love to come back and stay at the Salt House Inn.

Nice room, nice bathroom, nice breakfast, nice deck, nice host. Great to place stay in Ptown. Walking distance from the center. Even closer to Farland - the best stop for good food or that bottle of wine. Great home-made map of Ptown, including various tips on where to eat, what to do, where to shop etc. Convenient parking on the premises - which is not a given in the center of Ptown.

Room Tip: Room 10 has a king size bed. The room faces the main road - but traffic is not a big issue. Nice si...

After 43 annual vacations in Provincetown, staying at various inns, we have finally found the one to which we will always return:The Salt House Inn. It's ambience is, by far, the best compliment to the Cape we love: decor which reflects the beauty of the Cape, cleanliness which reflects the ocean and beaches, comfortable beds beyond most accommodations we've visited and a breakfast worthy of a Paris hotel. (The lack of a pool or fitness center were no deterrents to us. We prefer the ocean, beaches and hiking trails and are glad not to pay for unused amenities.)
