Great venue to see live acts however, their website can be a bit frustrating. The frustration lies in the fact that their website is not updated as often as I would like, only because I can't wait to find out which acts will be in Provincetown for the current Summer season. If you were to visit their website today (3/25/13) you will still see the acts booked for Summer 2012. Patience, please, as it has been my experience that the website becomes updated in early May. I consider this venue a great place to see live acts because the showcases are relatively small (layout is pretty narrow but long) so, any seat "in the back" should still provide you ample viewing of the act you've paid to see, but I do highly recommend you upgrade your tickets to VIP status. This can usually be accomplished for a nominal additional fee (about $10 per ticket) and, to me, the upgrade is worth the price. This upgrade affords you the ability to stand on a separate VIP ticket-holders line that allows you in first. Because of the exit areas in the VIP section, you might even get to meet your performer as they, too, exit the facility. This was my experience last Summer after a Judy Gold performance. She chatted with fans upon her exit from the building. "Brown Paper Tickets" actually facilitates the purchase of tickets at the Art House, so don't be alarmed when you see the name and, if you need to utilize their customer service team, they are very responsive and very helpful.
