My partner and I have been going to the Fairbanks Inn at least once a year since 2005. We love to stay there, not just because the property is beautiful, impeccably clean, well kept up, and centrally located, but especially because Alicia and Kathy are excellent hostesses. They are very helpful in giving suggestions for local restaurants, bars, attractions, and recreation activities. The breakfasts--expertly home-made by Alicia--are a feast!

In our different stays at the Fairbanks Inn, we have stayed in three different rooms in the property. Our favorite is the Penthouse: it's airy, tall ceiling with beautiful skylights, its king-size bed, its roomy sitting area with a very nice sofa and a small refrigerator, and its big bathroom make it the perfect space for a week-long vacation like the one we just took in May-June.

We love it there and we plan to return.

We spent 7 wondrerful days in this immaculate historic Inn. Our room was very comfortable and quiet. Kathleen and Alicia were great hosts, giving us their insight into all things to see and do there. This Inn is in a perfect location. It is 1 block to all the action, yet tucked away in a private and quiet setting. The garden was so peaceful. We took advantage of the sundeck for reading and sunning. You can park your car and walk everywhere. We will definitely return!!

If you want peace, ambiance, hospitality, feeling like family; then you need to go to The Fairbanks Inn. I felt like I never left home. Our rooms were clean, lots of space, warm and inviting. The ladies of the inn were more than happy to give you ideas on great places to eat and what entertainment you should or should not go to. It was wonderful to have good direction. When you're not famliar with an area, good suggestions always help. We can't wait to go again. There were 7 in our party and everyone of us want to thank the ladies at Fairbanks. We will be back again.

This was our 1st visit to The Fairbanks and it was absolutely fabulous. The inn was a home from home and very comfortable. The room was decorated in lovely furnishing with a flat screen HD TV and DVD player.

The continental breakfast each morning was a real treat, and Alicia’s wonderful homemade muffins and coffee cake went down a treat along with the great tasting coffee, and other breakfast goodies which made a good start to the day. On our next visit hopefully we’ll try the quiche.

The Innkeepers Alicia and Kathleen made us feel very welcome and are both friendly and down to earth. We’re already looking forward to our next visit to the inn next year.
