“a must see”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 8, 2013

it's not a trip to Provincetown without climbing the Monument. Wear good shoes (no flipflops) and try to go on a clear day so you can see once you get to the top. The museum is very interesting.

“Very interesting historical location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 8, 2013

Enjoyed reading up on the history and walked to the top of the tower but the foggy day limited the views. Glad we stopped and the staff was very nice. Its worth the time to check it out.

“Great view of P'town”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 6, 2013

By the time I got around to visiting the monument, I was too exhausted to climb the stairs to the top. It is an uphill walk from Bradford just to the parking lot. The museum gave a great history of P'town. The view from the bottom of the monument was great, so I can imagine what the view from the top was like.

“Great time- amazing museum!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 6, 2013

We started our visit by walking to the top of the monument and the views were stunning! Other than the screaming kids inside the monument we had a great time! After the monument we spent about an hour in the museum, and we had no idea that it was so big. The displays were put together nicely, and it was a great walk through history- would recommend going for anyone!

“Great view and tons of info”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 30, 2013

Quite a few steps to the top, but the great view compensate well for it.
The accompanying museum has some good films and items to explain early settlers history.
