Go there bright and early in the morning. If you are afraid of Heights then this is not the place for you. The Museum is great, and the staff were very nice

“The "Beginning" tour”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 27, 2013

Enjoyed learning about the pilgrims and seeing the artifacts from that era of America's History. Real interesting. Too many steps to go up inside the monument but the view from the base of the pilgrims monument of the Provincetown harbor was fantastic. Highest granite structure in the U.S.

“A great attraction for all!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 27, 2013

We visited the Pilgrim tower and museum for the first time this trip to P-Town. The museum is small, but gives you a great historical overview of P-Town and has some great exhibits. The Pilgrim Tower has fantastic views over all of P-Town and the lower Cape. It is a long walk up, but easy as it is mostly ramps rather than stairs. No elevator, so you should be in shape or take your time. Great views from the top, but enclosed with galss panels (I guess so nobody jumps...how sad!) so it is not so easy to take photos. A great piece of history in Provincetown.

“Pilgrim Monument”

Very interesting and informative. The walk up to the top of the tower seems really daunting but is actually not bad at all, and provides a really nice view. It's worth the climb. The staff is very friendly and the displays are interesting.

“Lovely View”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 22, 2013

The Pilgrim Monument is right in the center of town, and is visable from almost anywhere in town. At the base is a museum giving the history of the monument and Provincetown. It is quite a climb to the top, 100 landings/steps will get you to the top where you have a 360 degrees view of the town, bay, ocean, and the dunes. It is a beautiful view, and worth the climb.
