“Nice service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 16, 2012

The service is very nice. Waiters give advises even though it is not in their favor.

Prices are relatively cheap and quantities are huge, while the quality remains good. Altogether, this makes this restaurant a good place to go, especially in Plymouth tourists' area.

“Great food, great atmosphere, great location!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2012 via mobile

Decided on this restaurant after walking out of a nearby restaurant which looked very poor quality. We celebrated my birthday here one evening. This restaurant was warm, inviting, and had great ambiance. The food was fantastic, tortellini soup, eggplant manicotti, and stuffed shells. Service was great. Central to everything in Plymouth, directly across from the water. Beautiful views for those dining during the day. Highly recommended!

“Good option for seafood haters in Plymouth”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 2, 2012

Family run Italian restaurant overlooking the harbour. Very busy, which is probably a good sign, but we were seated and served very quickly. Garlic bread with cheese start was awesome; we opted for pizzas for our mains and the waitress warned us that they were large portions. "Yeah yeah," we thought, "we've got this American servings thing sussed, we'll just order small." So we went with a couple of 13 inch pizzas. Beware, inches in Mamma Mia are clearly not the standard imperial inches we're all used to, these things were more like 17 inches! God knows what the large is like, we could probably have taken one out in to the bay and paddled it around. My house pizza was extremely tasty, thin crust with plenty of sausage. My partner's veggie pizza was disappointingly bland, however.

“Good restaurant on a chilly night”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 23, 2012

Having pasta on a chilly night seems to hit the spot. THe restaurant was
crowded and seemed everyone else had the same idea. Service was
good and the food was plentiful no matter what you ordered. I had eggplant parmasan with what looked like a lb of spagetti.the Ministrone soup was delicious and the salad was crisp. Other members of our party also had veal pacata, a seafood dish and stuffed shells which were dry and could have used more sauce. It is worth a try.

“worst restaurant experience of my life!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed September 9, 2012

We were taking visiting friends and their six year old out to lunch. We were seated quickly, but waited over an hour for our food, it was cold, the 6 yr old was served 10 minutes after all our supposed hot meals were delivered <his was a grilled cheese sandwith, which, by the way is 2 VERY thick pieces of bread, grilled on all 4 sides <???> with 1 slice of cheese, and the best part of all was, when the manager came to see what was wrong, she was taking back one of the cold dishes which was supposed to be hot, prime rib, mashed potatoes, etc., and we all saw at the same time, as she turned the plate, hair on the white dish. She looked at us and just said, I see it". That was enough...no one could continue eating. I live in this town and was so embarrassed, I didn't know what to say to our guests. If I'd been the manager, I would have comped the meals...it was that bad! The mother of the 6 year old was more gracoius than I...I paid the bill, she left a tip.
