“fabulous bed!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 15, 2012

Stayed here one night with my partner who was in town for a conference. I've been by this site a million times and never knew this hotel was there, tucked behind a bunch of smaller businesses right near the waterfront. Could be challenging to find. It turned out to be a very nice, well-kept hotel. We stayed on the third floor in a room that looked out onto a courtyard. It was quiet enough on a Friday night to leave the window open for cool air. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. What a bed! It seemed giant and was the "sleep-number" kind. We didn't spend much time trying to determine our precise individual sleep numbers, but both slept comfortably with a soft comforter (felt like down), great pillows, etc. Plenty of room to spread out, and a large bathroom as well (I believe our room was handicapped enabled). Best part for me was the short walk to nice restaurants and bars on the waterfront for a romantic nightcap. Worst was .. the awful 1950s music playing over lobby speakers (Rock Around the Clock??) while I was using the business center the next morning (and, oh yeah, poor wifi signal so I used my hotspot instead). Overall, I'd absolutely recommend this hotel for visitors.

Room Tip: some rooms overlook an interior pool, which might be like an echo chamber if it's being used. Al...

Mold, sewer smells, room temp set to 56 (to hide the smells?). I was not alone on this one. We had a family gathering in Plymouth and this hotel was suggested as it's location is great.
That's about all it has going for it. Apparently built in sections over the years, our rooms (all on the lower rear) were (I'm being polite) objectionable.
After an e mail to the General Manager, I DID get an apology and one of the nights refunded.
I would personally investigate any room in this htoel before staying.

I do regret that your stay last month was not completely satisfactory. I have discussed your email and your posting with my management staff so that we can improve our operation and prevent a similar occurrence in the future. The staff at the hotel is always striving to improve our operation and continue to upgrade our services. I do appreciate your feedback as this is how we can address our guest’s concerns. I do hope that should you return to the Plymouth area that you give us another opportunity to be of service.

We stayed at the Radisson after reading the reviews on Trip Adivsor. The location is so close to most attractions, shopping and restaurants are all within walking distance. We just parked the car (Free Parking) and never had to use the car until we left to go to the Plymouth Plantation. I did do a review with the hotel directly voicing the discomfort of the sleep number beds and the whirlpool jets were not working. I was advised by the hotel, if you want one of the new beds that the hotel has replaced, ask for the 4th floor and they are working on getting the whirlpool fixed. The rooms are clean and the staff was very accommodating. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Hotel has sleep number beds that were not very comfortable. Ask for the 4th floor which I was advis...

Stayed one night and had everything we needed. Check in was quick with knowledgable staff. It was close to all attractions, quiet with enjoyable pool. Had drinks and appetizers in the pub, service was quick and friendly. Not sure what happened at breakfast good food but service was very slow.

The rooms which are pool view overlook the central pool area which is enclosed. This means that the air conditioning drags chlorine fueled air into the room. Not too much of a problem but very warm in the pool area and therefore the balcony was not really usable in the hot weather. The bathroom was incredibly small. Possibly the smallest bathroom I have ever had in a hotel room and I stay in very many. Was also not that clean. Very dusty around the bathroom mirror. The beds were 2 very small doubles for 2 adults and one child. Not at all practical. The hotel is however in a wonderful position and the staff are very friendly. Pool good but very busy and noisy up to 10pm.

Room Tip: Do not choose a pool view room unless you have kids who will spend all their time in it.

This hotel was really nice. When we checked we realized we had book a poolside room. We asked for another room. The night clerk got us into a new room,, no questions asked. The room was nice. Staff was courteous. The reason for the "terrible" review. Three evenings in a row, the mag key for the room stopped working. It was a long trek from our room to the front desk. That was not the problem. Each time a different member of the front desk staff provided a new key. But NEVER once did they ask for any sort of identification. In my mind that means that anyone could have walked in and gotten a new key for any room. Gave me that wonderful sense of security.

Pros:
Friendly staff
Large room
Good location
Reasonably clean
Got a room for $79 on Hotwire

Cons:
Only one half of our room's Sleep Number bed actually worked, which made for a very uncomfortable experience
Heard people running down the halls and in their rooms from 7am-10am
Shower head didn't work properly
Looked like someone had taken a baseball bat to all the doors, don't know what that was about..

Others may have a better experience, but I will not be staying here again
