“Lunch with a large group”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 11, 2012

The food was excellent and the selections on the menu showed creativity. I had the crunchy french toast stuffed with blueberry cream, it was delicious and more than I could eat. There were vegan items on the menu. The prices were reasonable. The wait staff was attentive, and some how managed to do separate checks for 18. Also near many attractions. They have their own parking lot, which is unusual for downtown Plymouth. Recommend highly to anyone looking for a quality lunch or breakfast.

“Decent, plain food at a good price.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 10, 2012

The club sandwich I had wasn't very inspiring, but it was decent and the service in the cafe was very good. I would recommend the place for a quick, decent lunch.

“Good food, but no value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 2, 2012

The food is always great at Water Street Cafe. You can expect your food to arrive quickly after your order, and made to order. The biggest issue I've seen from time and time again is the lack of value from the menu. For example, a club sandwich is $7.50 plus if you want french fries expect to pay an additional $2.00! What restaurant charges an extra fee for french fries with a sandwich? Value, simply, lost.

“A Great Plymouth Breakfast and Lunch Room”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 29, 2012

The Water Street Cafe is a gem in a town with dozens of excellent restaurants. With windows everywhere almost every seat has a view of beautiful Brewster Gardens. The staff is friendly, experienced and if you visit more than twice they'll remember how you take your coffee. Breakfast is superb. The pancakes may be the best we've tasted. The omelets are delicious and can be customized. The waffles are wonderful, the fruit plate huge and fresh and the bacon crisp. What's not to love? If you're in a celebratory mood there are Bloody Marys and Mimosas that can get you off to a good start. There are always specials for breakfast and lunch. On Sunday there's usually a line...but it's worth the wait.
