While at a conference in nearby Carver, MA, I plotted "lunch" into my GPS...Plane Jane's came up, I was intrigued by the name, and thought I'd give it a shot.
I went past this place twice! (Okay, maybe I should slow down while driving.)
Plane Jane's is located adjacent to the Plymouth Airfield, which includes a flying school. The cafe boasts a menu to make any diner enthusiast proud... breakfast served all day, burgers, sandwiches, and being that it's Cape Cod, lobstah rolls on special.
This is really a family-friendly find. Parents want to have a good meal in a clean, comfortable environment. Kids, on the other hand, will LOVE sitting on the back deck, overlooking the airfield as the planes take off and land.
Now for the food! Despite all of the yummy offerings, I settled on a turkey club. It arrived piled with turkey, a substantial three deck sandwich with toasted rye, buttery lettuce, a smattering of mayo, and an ample serving of crisp bacon. All that and chips!
Order and pay with the friendly gentleman at the counter ahead and then grab a booth indoors or outside.
