Beautifully restored historic building houses this wonderful bakery. All home made breads, sandwiches, and soups, great coffee, teas, and lattes. Its old world and simple so you may wait but its worth it!

“Don't miss this family operated bakery/cafe”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 16, 2013

I would drive from Providence all the way to Plymouth to eat at the Blue Blinds Bakery! We stumbled upon the bakery last March and had a delicious bowl of squash soup. Went back the next day for morning pastry. The raspberry claw is to die for. I've scouted all my local bakeries and can't find anything that comes close. The bakery is closed on Saturdays so plan your trip accordingly. You won't be disappointed! We also made a detour in August on the way from Providence to the Nantucket Ferry just to go back to the Blue Blinds Bakery.

“Wonderful organic find”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 11, 2013

We stumbled across this bakery as we strode uphill (post Mayflower & Plantation). The seafront, like its English counterpart, has cheesy tourist written all over it.

So we were pleasantly surprised to discover really delicious & organic cakes & snacks. I even got to drink one of my all-time favourites: peppermint & liquorice tea here.

Our server was very welcoming - despite 'tourist' accents!

“Fabulous!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 4, 2013

Having travelled around New England for 3weeks and felt like we couldn't escape deep fried food and a marked lack of anything remotely healthy, this little cafe was like an oasis! The food was excellent, the tea was perfect and the welcome was charming. Thank you

“Exceptional”

Artesian bread, home made cakes, pies and pastries, expresso drinks, soups, sandwiches. Mostly organic, mostly from scratch by people that care. Bring your laptop and enjoy the delightful home atmosphere.
