“second visit to burial hill”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 20, 2012

This was my second trip to burial hill. This time in August. Love the view from hil overlooking harbor.

Still found it sad that thur place needed maintenance. Large tree had fallen and wasn't removed, graffiti on trash barrels.

Grass needed to be mowed. But overlooking all of that the history is amazing. Dates from 1600's worth a stop.

“Very Interesting”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 20, 2012

This is the oldest cemetry I have ever walked through, dating back to the 1600's. Some of the tombstones are so old you can't read the inscriptions anymore but what history!

“Awesome!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 14, 2012

Walking around and seeing the headstones, so aged and many unreadable. The sense of history was awesome!

“Well worth a visit”

Very interesting and thought provoking. Would do the harbour cruise and then visit here. That way you really get to undertand.

“Neat to see pilgrim era graves”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 2, 2012

It's neat to me to see Pilgrim era graves and a scenic setting like Burial Hill. Did not find it easy to find special markers, but worth a quick visit.
