As we drove back from a mid-week mini-vacation in Massachussetts, we stopped numerous places and towns to check out menus, but we couldn't agree on anything we both wanted. When we passed Mazzeo's we noted LOTS of cars in the parking lot, and decided that boded well for a good dining experience. The greeters and wait staff were VERY friendly and accomodating all evening. Great job! Husband had Chicken Saltimbocca- a "different" preparation than we were used to--- included flat/layered chicken with the prosciutto and cheese and sauce (instead of the typical roll). Don't know if their method of preparation was why the dish was so successful, however, it is moist, juicy, and the sauce was excellent. (Some of the chicken "rolls" I have had tended to be dry). The caeser salad was fresh and the cheese good--but the dressing was boring. I had two appetizers rather than an entree (the eggplant parmegiano---cooked just right, nice sauce, a little crispy; and a special salad (mixed greens, blue cheese, cranberries, candied nuts--- really a taste treat!). Overall a wonderful experience.
