We found the restaurant through an online search. Made a reservation. Then before going were at a coffee shop where we were told that this restaurant was "the best". So we came with high expectations. We were not disappointed! Food was amazing - tasty, cooked to perfection, wonderful appetizers, great service. We are fussy, so having 4 adults leaving feeling very satisfied and 4 teenagers leaving stuffed, says a lot. Totally recommend. They also have American cuisine for those who aren't keen on Asian.

“The Best Food in the Berkshires”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 2, 2013

We love Malaysian food and are always surprised at the lack of Malaysian restaurants in New England. So it came as a pleasant surprise to discover that Pittsfield was home to one of the best Malaysian restaurants we've ever visited. I have to admit we were not expecting an authentic Malaysian experience when seeing it advertised as a Malaysian and American restaurant. However, we were not disappointed. The food was authentic and flavorful. If you are new to Malaysian food try the Nasi Goreng (fried rice) or the Kway Teow (fried noodles) - you will not be disappointed and you will discover why Malaysian food beats Chinese (and most Thai food) hands down!

“Very tasty cuisine, surprising find in the Berkshires!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 2, 2013

The Malaysian food at Flavours is an excellent fusion of the best of Chinese, Thai, and Indian. If you're not familiar with Malaysian cuisine, but you like other Asian food, you have to give Flavours a try, you won't be disappointed! It was bordering on Excellent. The Seafood & Chicken Barbeque was delicious, I loved the shrimp and chicken, but the Salmon while of excellent quality, wasn't something I'd normally pair with barbeque sauce. The Chicken potato curry was also very tasty. Ingredients and preparation is fresh, to order.

Definitely worth your visit.

“Pleasant surprise in Pittsfield”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 27, 2013

We wandered in early on a Saturday night and weren't disappointed. American wait staff (a smart choice by the owner) struck the right tone immediately -- knowing and friendly without being overly solicitious. Our chicken Satay appetizer was excellent -- cooked perfectly, and sauce and garnish were great. For entrees, my partner got the Ahi tuna steak, rare, which was a sight to behold -- colorful and flavorful. I got the Pad Thai, which was far better than expected. All in all, a very nice experience. The place needs re-decorating, but otherwise it's a delight.

“Delicious”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 22, 2013

This is the best restaurant option we've found in Pittsfield. We had all vegetarian dishes and everything was good. The achar pickled salad was our favorite. The lemongrass spring rolls were very good - crispy and not greasy at all. The grilled eggplant was not as highly seasoned as the other dishes but the texture was perfect. As for drinks, the lychee martini was on the sweet side but not overly so, the mangorita was unremarkable, and there is local brewery selections on tap. Very good meal overall.
